Bonker deserved a goal tonight even if it was an empty netter. Two goals away form last year's total.

CBC recently replied back to one of my emails and said half of their viewers want to see the Leafs. Ok, so what about the other half?
They showed no clips of the game during the 1st intermission and they just showed a few clips of Savard getting his # retired. Meanwhile, in Crotch's Corner, Cherry begrudgingly said how good Savard was because of all the times he burned the Bruins and lots of the clips of Savard goals showed him against Boston. If it was f'ing Darryll Sittler or Borje Salming or Doug Gilmour or even Wendel Clark, they'd be all over it like the salivating Leaf lovers they are. It's repulsive sometimes. Take that, Sour Grapes. Maybe they'll cover Dryden's # retirement ceremony only because he was president/one-time GM of the Laughs.

Tried to bat it out of the zone. Didn't want a faceoff in our zone.

Hey, do you realize if there had been time left on the clock that Komisarek clearing would be a goal and his 3rd of the year, 3rd shorthanded no less?! That was close.

Well people, we might stop saying that the Kovy line is the 2nd, the Bonk line deserves to be it, and we will lower our expectations over the Kovy line.....at least for now.....

It can't be over since there was no controversy to begin with. There was only a controversy in the minds of those who wanted one.
