Oh please...despite our difficulties as of late on the PP, we are still amongst the tops in the league.

I'm a huge Kostitsyn supporter and I still believe he can be a 30 goal scorer at one point. However, just like everyone else he has to pay his dues. One good game does not merit a spot on the PP unit (especially since the level of play was so poor, any meaningful effort from one our players stood out)

So yes. I laugh at such claims...and shall continue to do so.

Again...lol Kovalev is on the ice...fighting the puck with Metropolit then 5 seconds later. Houde: "It's been a while since we've seen kovalev on the ice...I wonder what's wrong"

There were still many. Man there are nearly 30 shots by each team with one more period left. To me this game is much more entertaining then quite a few higher scoring games this year.

Kotstitsyn avoided getting a concussion by jumping up on the hit that Sutton had.

Plekanec is looking dangerous, perhaps time to try him with Kovalev and Kotstitsyn? Or something to that effect? Kovalev at center is clearly not working.

Streit has had a good game so far, our defense is good, good offensive pressure just a lack of finish. Passing game is back on track.

Perezhogin needs to get his skates sharpened he falls 2-3 times a period.

Whenever I see Kovalchuk I always think that we could have had him at the draft. Was Atlanta insisting on Theodore or Garon? Either way, in retrospect either one would have been an absolute steal for him.

Sens playing the Sabres tough again. Only Sabres goal was at 19:59 fo the first period. Emery is looking good. 2-1 Ottawa with 7 mins left.

If Ottawa can keep winning games against Buffalo and Toronto only we'll be in the hunt for the division crown.

Good second period, I think we outplayed them handidly. Not very impressed by Kovalev or Kostitsyn...Bonk and Perezhogin are buzzing and Ryder's been solid too. Hopefully that goal gave him a boost. Still, the Thrashers are too dangerous a team to try and hold a 1-0 lead, we have to come out flying the third!

From what I understood, Andre Savard really wanted Kovalchuk before he got drafted. Atlanta was willing to deal but were asking for Theo and Montreal's 1st, or Garon and Montreals 1st, or something to that effect. Savard thought sending over Theo was too steep or Atlanta got cold feet, Im not sure which one.
