I'd say Pierre Turgeon even though he's not really playing right now. When he was healthy last year he was still a great player. I absolutely hated that Turgeon-Corson trade.

Even though he was trash when he left us... Jose Theodore. He was the best goalie in the world the year he won the Hart.

I'd say Chris Chelios and Matt Schneider. And maybe Tomas Vokoun, if I can consider he only played 20 mins with the Habs.

Forgot about them. Chelios didn't even hit his prime yet! Watch out Lidstrom!

Oleg Petrov

I'm sure he's still playin somewhere, he was fun to watch, It would be fun to see a Smurf line revival with Koivu-Samsonov-Petrov, not sure who would score but they would circle around defensemans all night baby.

Even though he is not playing anymore either; Eric Desjardins.

Him and Sneaky Pete were the two trades I hated the most. Leclair ...meh. I thought throwing Desjardins was the dumbest move of all.

For players who are playing now.... how about Robidas in Dallas?

I was a big fan of J.J. Daigneault. I mean he wasn't great but he had lots of charisma.

The one player I would most like to have back that is still playing is Aaron Asham. In my mind he's a better Garth Murray. I always hated the Scott Thornton trade as well but I think he's a little past his prime now. As much as everyone hates him it sure wouldn't hurt to have Darcty Tucker in the lineup.

Active- I'd like Darcy Tucker and Craig Conroy back on the Habs.

Slightly older school, I'd love to have a prime Guy Carbonneau and Claude Lemieux.

Darcy Tucker comes to mind first.

It's funny, though, a handful of years ago the list would have been enormous. But now it seems like maybe we're keeping the right guys and letting the right guys go instead, eh? And many of the previous mistakes are getting old enough that they aren't really factors any more, so as much as I liked guys like Recchi and Leclair in their days, there's no point in wanting them back *now*.

Is Beauchemin still playing well or was he a flash in the pan, I wonder?
