There's the Panthers that I'm use to seeing! Giveaways, no offense, and penalties!

Booth getting PK time in his first NHL game. Panthers 4-1. That's my guess but I tend to be an optimist. It would be nice if Auld had a big game.

Edit: Yes!!!!...our 2nd pp unit has been huge this year, thats why our pp is 4th overall.

Nice goal by Gelinas! Simple deflection in but it was a nice look by Weiss and definitely Gratton(?) in the corner.

Man I was totally pulling for Booth to net that goal. That kid has wheels. I really hope he stays up here for a while. He even made a nice decision, instead of forcing his way to the net, he dropped it back to the D for a shot. I really like what I see from him.

Oh, and Auld is killing it out there.

Rusty will be in Rochester for 4 games. I hope that Booth will be here for atleast the 4 games that Olesz is gone because this kid has been great tonight! He's had a breakaway, he's had some chances, he works hard and has some speed that we don't seem to have often (especially Jokinen, man does he suck at skating what? I get scared when he's out there because he gives up many turnovers etc).

I hate when this happens though - we always do well in the first period (Buffalo for example), and then when we take the lead, during the second and third periods the other team comes right out and destroys us. We cannot let that keep happening to us, and let this be a turning point!

Auld has kept everything out of the net (this includes: breakaways, 2-on-1s, etc... since I mean how many of those has Boston had? A lot), we've had some speed getting into the offensive zone, we've scored, we haven't taken 80 penalties... keep it up, I know they can.

It's only halfway through the second period and he's had what, three breakaways already? That's what I call speed that we don't have (yes, Niewy was on a breakaway too [glad he's okay])

He's made some nice passes too. We need to get another goal and stop taking these penalties.

Nice goal by Horton and nice pass by Olli. Keep it up.

I didn't get to see the first period, but quickly noticed Booth on his first two shifts. Martin obviously has confidence in him to put him out there on the PK.

It's refreshing to see us call up someone and see them actually play well. Hopefully Olesz gets some confidence and comes back and shows what he is capable of.

I thought I read somewhere that Booth wasn't a particularly good skater. More power to him then!

These NESN announcers are SOO boring. Hockey is a fast, exciting sport and I just don't get that impression listening to these guys.

Also every time a goalie makes a stop on a shot within 10 feet the goalie "robbed" the player.

definitely got lucky there. Diving's the last thing these guys need to start doing.

Maybe it wasn't a dive. Looked like he just lost his footing.

but.. goal!

LOL What a funny goal but I'm glad it went in. I feel bad for Boston for that, but we need goals so it's okay.

I wouldn't say it was a dive, more of an intentional fall but still crappy nonetheless. This makes up for the 53 times other teams have dove and we got called.

Can you believe what we're seeing from the Cats tonight? Man...if they could string a couple of games like this back-to-back, I'd quit whining and complaining so much.

Booth has been awesome to watch. I love when we call these kids up...they all have something to prove and they all say it's their "dream" to be there (playing in the NHL). It shows on the ice.

Booth is awesome! He just stripped CHARA off the puck and forced him to take a penalty!

This kid reminds me of Hagman but with more skill and hustle.
