I was thinking Marcus Ragnarsson. There may be a phone call to Rico eventually.

I entered his name in a Google search and came across this article from the summer. Check out number 3.

There already was, and Rico isn't coming back. He may come back as a coach for the Phantoms, but he's done playing. An article posted on here a week or two ago mentioned it.

As for Timmonen, we'll have to see. Can't be much worse than what they have, right?

Ouch. Timonen was a seventh defenseman in SM-liiga last season and wouldn't have made some of the stronger teams' line-ups at all.

In a better world:

Lidström-Rathje
Pitkänen-Gauthier
Lidström-Hatcher
Meyer-Picard

Or Scott Niedermeyer...

Why not Jonsson?

This is going to suck.

Why is Jonsson always overlooked. 5 points in 8 games. Looks like he's stuck in the AHL this year.

Are they deliberately handing out these numbers so that 2 years from now the entire defense is wearing #43-48?

43 Jonsson
44 Pitkanen
45 Picard
46 Timmonen

Weird.

It must have been when I was in Las Vegas and helping to pay their electric bills.

It's Timonen. Even that article has it wrong. Funny.

I thought it was with one 'm', then I read the article and thought I was wrong. Then I saw his jersey and realized the article was wrong and I'd spelt it wrong here because of the damn article!
