Whoa! Holy smokes! I wasn't expecting that. Shows what I know, eh?

Ok, kid, here's your chance. Let's see whatcha got. Pisses me off that the next game isn't televised. I won't get the chance to add his first NHL game to my DVD library.

Lemaire liked his game two years ago - I don't see why he wouldn't make use of him when Wyatt Smith has seen playing time.

With Lemaire, there's just no way to know. He could play 20 minutes on the top line, he could see spot duty on the 4th line, he could play defense, he could play goalie, he could drive the Zamboni, he could be the parking valet. Or he could do all of those things. Your guess is as good as anyone else's, but if I had to speculate, I'd say he'll probably play on a scoring line. Lemaire's philosophy is usually to put players in a position where they'll utilize their strengths, and Pouliot is a scorer. But who knows? Hell, he may even be a scratch, for all i know.

Its televised but on RDS (in french) - havent seen Pouliot on much but he did get a bit on the powerplay, he looked good on the PP - Minn almost scored, later got hit behind the net but he didnt have the puck - as we speak it just got tied - i think Pouliot was instrumental in starting that play (couldnt tell if it was # 67 and hard to pick out names in French lol) - if it was him then hes looking good in the limited ice time ive seen him play

He did a sweet pass entering the zone and then went to screen the net, both of which helped the Wild get the second goal. Overall he played well, considering the few minutes he played. Mostly on the PP and a bit of 4-on-4. He also got rocked by Begin behind the net.

For not getting any practice in with the team I thought he looked OK. Lord knows we need something. This team is starting to spin badly. Looked like a disappointing effort for much of the game tonight, but then I told myself several guys must be playing injured.

was actually Ryder who rocked him behind the net.

I thought Benoit played fairly well for how much ice time he was given and the circumstances he was under. (no practice with the team, playing ur first NHL gam etc.) I hope he gets a couple more games under his belt, and so more ice time to show us what he can really do.

You called? I know that I am a little bit late...
I was so happy to hear that Benoit was recalled...
but damn it, Lemaire; you have to play Pouliot a bit more than 6 and some minutes a ****in' game.

I don't think hockeyprincess will ever be satisfied with how Benoit will be used.

The phrase "will be used" is so open to interpretation...
