Should be a good one. Ottawa usually plays us tight and we usually give them our best efforts as well. Wether or not the guys do tonight is another matter but hopefully after this past week they realise they just can't sleepwalk their way to a win.

Grahame is absolutely on fire lately and I see him being the difference in this one. I'm going with 3-2 Canes.

It should be a great game.

I'll be interested to see how Grahame does against Ottawa since he sucked it up against them with Tampa last year. Then again, Gerber has sucked it up this year, so advantage goes to...?

Before you say MMMM Baby food, try some pureed green beans.

And I predict 10 - 8 Canes.

Should be a good game, indeed. Hopefully the fire from the Bruins game after that piss poor effort earlier last week will carry over to tonight. It's been a long 3 days without the Canes, so do us proud tonight!

GO CANES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A matchup of two of the most underrated goaltenders of the moment. People think Grahame is garbage because he can't be a starter in the league, and people think Gerber is a one year wonder who is now an albatross of a contract holding them back from playing a younger and potentially more promising goaltender in Ray Emery.

This one isn't going to be as wide open as people expect. Both of these men have immense pride and it will show in their play. Martin Gerber I honestly feel sorry for. He left and got his big money, after being told thanks but no thanks to the first team he has been comfortable with his role with. Then he signs with a canadian team that has turned on him after a ten game stretch of bad play.

I feel bad for him, but not bad enough to wish him a win tonight.

We don't feel sorry for him, but Sens fans hope he can regain his form quickly. He signed for $3.7 million per, (that's a lot of coin) so it's not like he went to Ottawa with his eyes closed. Also, he's struggled mightily, with a dismal .890 save percentage and 3.45 gaa. That's pathetic for the type of money he's getting.

Sens fans are wondering if he can handle the pressure of playing in a "hockey-first" city with the spotlight on him at all times. Time will tell. If he doesn't regain his form soon, he'll be riding the pine in favor of Emery for quite a while.

You can't miss 3 chances to take the puck away like that and not expect them to score. Honestly.

I finally figured out what it is I don't like about Belanger, and what has been bothering me about him.

He gets knocked off the puck very easily, and he just looks very small. He may be fast but if I see him back down when someone gets physical with him I'm going to lose my mind. He must be hanging out with Tanabe between games.

Don't exagerate!
It only took 5 games to turn on him.

Yeah our D just got undressed on that 3rd goal. Like Commodore caught with his pants around the ankles undressed.

Ok THAT goal was Grahames fault. That was ugly.

This is exactly the kind of score I didn't want to see upon coming back from dinner.

Well, that evens the season's series. Last year it went 2-2, this year probably won't be much different. See you next game.

Can't win them all. Saw you guys play live in Boston the other day (won a trip there, and tix to the game). Canes looked better there.

Usually a great game between the two teams though, agreed.

Sucks to start out a new week of hockey with a loss. You also can't come up with any good tidbit or good streaks or anything. I can only say that we've lost 3 out of the last 4 and look forward to next game for the start of a possible win streak.

This team has been an enigma of late in a BIG way. If they play to their potential, like they did against Boston, well you saw the results for yourself. Tonight was a case where they just seemed like they were still in a thanksgiving hangover, seemed that way against the Rangers and Islanders as well.
