Mike Richards Goal Watch thread

It has been 52 games since Mike Richards has scored a goal. Pick the date and team you think Mike Richards is going to score against.

I have a feeling once he gets one, he'll get a bunch... but damn, the kid is snakebit.

I'd love to see him get one vs Columbus - hopefully in the first period, shorthanded!

when or if do we play Phoenix? yes the effort is there, he hustles and all that good stuff. would it hurt to tell him we are sending you down to the phantoms for a short stretch just to get him a goal. think about it. what harm would it do to try to get him on track. as long as he knows it is a short stint i think he would like that idea being the team player he is. bottom line is we need more production out of richards. what to do with calder is another story. who can get him going, we have no healthy center who are really playmakers.

Kend Manderville-esque hands he has right now.

Who will score first? Richards or Calder? Or will Hatcher outscore them both?

I would laugh if he doesnt score one goal until the very last game of the season.

I'll say him and Calder will get their first goal of the season in the same game, though when that will be...

All he needs is a goal, and the rest will come. I'm sure he scores 15-20 to the end of the season

I'm sure it's not gonna go on too much longer but he couldn't shoot his way out of a wet paper bag at the moment.

Against the Leafs? He has always played well when the Flyers play the Leafs.

I'm calling it to be an empty netter*.

*Note: Of course the Flyers would have to first put themselves into a position where the other team would pull the goalie.

Maybe other teams will start pulling their goalies when they're up by like five with less than a minute remaining. I'm sure that'll happen a couple dozen more times this season.
