I had 1,000+ at one time but "donated" some to a used CD place -- lack of interest, overplayed, too little time, etc.

Not me. Other then the necessary bills (and satisfying the girlfriend) all my money is spent on cds and concerts. As far fetched as it sounds, I probably listen to all of them at some point during the year!

If these damn ipods, etc. dont ruin the cd, I plan to hold the record one day

There's a few Refused fans floating around on HF. Not a lot, but enough to give you the aching to press play every once in a while.

Honestly, I've never picked up a CD of mustard plug. I'm open to suggestions, though. And Sublime...

Hell yeah, the Rev is great. He's touring with the Legendary Shack Shakers now, he was in town last Friday but I was seeing some old fella by the name o' Doc Watson, so it's OK. As for me:

The Clash
The Specials
Old 97's (first 3 albums)
Jayhawks
Reverend Horton Heat
Legendary Shack Shakers
The Modern Lovers

Here's some of mine:

KISS (the albums Love Gun and Destroyer are absolutely brilliant)
Guns N Roses (you can't go wrong with Appetite and when Chinese Democracy drops, I think everyone will be surprised at just how good the new lineup is)
Van Halen (DLR era though)
Alice Cooper
Iggy Pop and the Stooges
The Ramones
H.I.M.
Black Sabbath (with Ozzy Osbourne)
Ozzy Osbourne (only Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman)
Oasis
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Slipknot
Stone Sour
Todd Kerns
The Supersuckers
Roger Alan Wade
and of course, Kenny Rogers

Mine is an eclectic list. In no particular order:

Kiss (until they unmasked - then they sucked)
Bon Jovi
AC/DC
Guns N Roses
Great Big Sea
Styx
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Foo Fighters
Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Too many big bands to list

Here's where I list a bunch of indie bands that nobody's ever heard of so that I can appear hip! Except I'm not.

Floyd
Zeppelin
Hendrix
Doors
Nirvana
Primus (sucks!)
Metallica (like everyone else, Black and b4)
Kutless

BCfan- loved GNR but can never forgive Axl for not showing up at the Wachovia Center back in '02. Watching Philly act like Philly when they announced he wasn't coming was classic. I'm lucky I was in the Superboxes and not on the floor where chairs were flying everywhere.
