Fantasy Senator's GM and Coach

Ok, i got a mediocre answer from one poster about the detailed performance thus far of Coach Murray and i get the feeling that the majority of people are disgruntled with GM Muckler. That being said....

If you were Melnyk, which GM and Coach would you hire who is currently available that you believe would bring the Senators to the Promised Land. Second, which GM and Coach would you hire even if they were already hired by another team.

Explain your reasons.

IMHO, i would love to have Marshall Johnston back. He seemed to really draft great talent and made some great trades (Yashin for Chara, Spezza and Mackult comes to mind). As a Coach, i would love to see someone like Pat Burns behind the bench (even if he is no longer coaching these days)

Well, I don't want Gainey unless he brings Carbonneau. I have always loved that guy. My guess is he's an NHL head coach for life, unless he makes the jump to GM. He's a brilliant man, a great leader, and IMO he was the best shot blocker of all time. Hard not to bust your *** for a guy who sacrificed his body like that. Gainey was a great player too, but I can't say I've loved all of his personnel decisions thus far.

Doug Wilson and Brent Sutter

Without question the best combo would be Doug Wilson as GM (already done a masterful job as GM of the Sharks (see trade for Joe Thorton) is an Ottawa boy and ex 67 + Brent Sutter as Coach (wonderful motivator, works well with young players and is hard nosed).
