So I'm assuming the goal in OT was also a lucky completely fluke goal.

Nope but the goal that got them there was. Doesn't really matter though, ugly goals count just as much in the score column.

Not saying he was at fault but why was Lehtonen started again? Hartley works in mysterious ways.

Have a nice day, Ryan. Any game where you get a point is a good game (reference: our recent 4 game losing streak)

Is that a fantasy league? I need Skava to rock this week for me but all that's just secondary amusement. At least for me.

Yea, I was hoping Hoss would have a huge game tonight but I guess not.

I hate games like tonight, we play well for the majority of the game and can't finish in the end.

How do you guys think Krog looked out there tonight? Obviously left a mark getting that goal on his first shift/shot of the game.

Well according to http://www.hockeyinformer.com/web/fa...eekahead.shtml Lehtonen will get the start again. BTW the site also had him starting against TB.

TB was smart, when you have the league's worst PP, it's probably good to avoid taken too many penalties.

Kozlov didn't respond to my call out and is now scoreless in 5 games. BTW Hossa is scoreless in three games. No wonder why the Thrashers haven't won a couple more games in November.

Congrats to Jason Krog for his goal. Perhaps it's a good idea to call up Sterling and/or Haydar to see, if they can provide secondary scoring. Hartley should move Krog to a scoring lines, because his talent isn't fully exploited when playing with the likes of Metropolit and Slater.

What an absurd goal to tie the game.

Havelid was simply awful all game, Hartley should not have had him on the ice in OT.

It was undisciplined play that caused this loss. Havelid's a veteran player and you would think he'd know better than to take a stupid penalty that late in the game, especially when they had brought out an extra attacker. Havelid sure as heck wasn't playing like a top line d-man. Did he leave his game back in Sweden? Hnidy deserved more time on the ice than he got, especially after shouldering much of the duty against the Caps.

I too was surprised that Kari got the start last night. Once again, one has to wonder what's going on in Hi Bob's head. At times, it seems as though he does this to try to quell the rumors of a goalie controversy.

Havelid has been average, at best, all season. I thought the first goal scored on Kari was as weak as they get. Can't comment on anything after that because my drunkeness took over and I couldn't tell the two teams apart anymore.

Maybe I should have done that last night; I felt like it after the game. There's been a few games I've gone to in the past where I was that drunk. Of course drinking two of those big beers from one of the places in the CNN Center before the game really got the ball rolling.....

I've only listen to the game and from what I heard, only the first goal Lehtonen could have stop that but he misplay it. Actually it happen to be a PP 5-3 for Tampa at that time so I guess those thing happen. But otherwise, Lehtonen have a solid game. If not for him, we might have lose the 3rd period and get no point at all. So yeah, I guess we can say that Lehtonen stole 1 point for us in that game.

As for Havelid, yeah that penality was bad. But give this guy a break, he just cming back from his Mom funeral from Sweeden noneless. This guy is human after all. I guess he must still be tired. Anyway, I was targeting a 5 pts out of those games against WAS/TB/FLO. Guess we still within my target. If we win against Florida tonight, 5 points out of 6 agaist Divisional Rival, that's sound good to me.
