Didn't see any mention of this anywhere but in the post-game press meet thingy Carbo confirmed that Abby is starting on Saturday. Should be up on RDS by now I'd imagine.

definitely makes sense. i mean just bc abby's had some rough games recently doesn't mean you forget the first 15 games of the season when he was outstanding.

By 15, you must mean 6 or 7.

Abby deserve those games
Lets face it guys the last 2 games abby played in, the habs didnt show up.
The players couldnt get the puck out of the zone...

Huet needs a rest, its only phillie tomorrow also, they are the worst team in the NHL...
Put the backup when u are playing a bad team...

was their ne doubt?
We mentioned it at the end of last week.

we can easily make this 4 in a row. And the excuse of 2 games in 2 days is out the door cuz Philly played too.

That dosn't mean we won't play like crap. Florida last week had also played a game the night before, and whupped us.

edit: My mistake, Florida had played two nights previous. Either way we haven't played well in either of our back-to-back games.

We are playing one of the worst teams in the league, we cant win this one.. we dont deserve to call ourselves a good team.

im sick and tired of always beating the top teams and losing to the ones we are supposed to win.

not a huge surprise.

I fully expect huet to be between the pipes after this game though.

Don't say that or Anaheim may think they aren't deserving either. Remember, Philly beat Anaheim less than two weeks ago by a score of 7-4. There are no guarantees these days. Habs will still have to play hard and earn it.

If there's a team Abby can get his confidence back against, well, you're lookin' at 'em...

You give your backup goalie these games. Our wall needs a rest once in a while (yes he's human) and a game vs Philly is a good choice. Hopefully we won't need to play Huet at any time tonight...

They still aren't reporting anything regarding Montreal starting goaltenders on TSN in their game preview, which leads me to believe that neither has been confirmed.

Yup.
I'm hoping our boys won't pull off a Chicago or Florida night again.
