He's only 19? It seems like he's been over here forever!

I watched him play the other night he is one of his teams go to guys in just about every situation. His defensive play on the pk will make management very happy.

Every story I read or game I watch with this kid gets me excited, he seems to just love playing hockey and I truly believe Sergei and his brother could be something special someday in the NHL.

I didn't buy into the hype last year, because I had watched him a few times and he didn't seem like a key player for the london knights...However this year he looks much better...More confident, better defensively, smarter offensively and faster. I'd bank on this guy becoming an NHLer and hopefully it will be with us (I have a feeling that He and Grabovsky would be upset with the club if we traded A.Kostitsyn and might not want to play with the club...Just a hunch).

There's no way we get rid of Andrei, when the Belarussian line is in the making.

S. Kotstitsyn - Grabovski - A. Kotstitsyn will be the godliest line ever assembled!

Well I hope he is a go to guy at age 19 if he wants any chance to play in the NHL. Remmeber even the least skilled guys in the NHL were dominant in juniors. Remember Sebastien Bordeleau. 148 pts his final year in junior.

Hmmm

I am a Knight season ticket holder so I see a lot of his game:

Sergei was top OHL rookie scorer last season but he was an 18 yr old rookie, so that kind of gets kicked around a bit. On the other hand, Sergei was second in OHL scoring for last years playoffs. It was in the playoffs that he really arrived.

So far this year he started slow being somewhat disappointed about going back to junior. He has come on strong lately. He scored a shorthanded 5 on 3 OT winner last week. Plays on the PK regularly. And is a mainstay on the PP. The Knights have a 5 fwd PP, and he is on the point, so defensive play responsibility is important. He does well in that respect.

It will be interesting to see this kid put on some size. He could work out well for the Habs. Good hands, good shot, bit of an edge.

The kid plays with a bit of an edge, which is different from Andrei.
