That was pathetic. Is he really that scared of someone knowing what he looks like, that he will resort to holding up a sign with a big blue circle on the end to cover his face during an interview. Why on earth did they interview that hack?

that just goes to show why rads is a call-up rather rather than a full-timer. yes his offense is good, but the 'was that my guy' defense needs some work.

Good to see he's reading, but what a set-up and steal by Kariya!

Looks like a PP for the Flyers, but at least Forsberg is in the box...

agree on legwand, but as i mentioned, aside from the game winner(which i guess is all that really matters,) erat and kariya didn't look so hot, either. actually, kariya had his moments...erat and legwand were both pretty off.

I know Rathje got an assist on that late pass thats why he was plus one when the game was over...

Nice to see the team come away with 2 points. We can't afford to drop points right now. We need as many points as possible, especially with a tough road trip coming up.

Its a shame we didn't do more to put them away or at least keep pressure in their end in the third. But kudos to Kariya and Erat for punishing them for making a mistake in the third.

Radu... another goal! 3 straight games with a goal, all while averaging about 8 minutes a game. Still ended up getting a -1 for the night though.

about as bad as Paul McCann (Pred's in-house announcer) trying to pronounce Gilbert Brule.... he butchered that one!

instead of ZHEEL-BEAR BROO-LAY, he said GILL-BERT BRA-LAY several times.

whew.. let me say that again.. whew

no, we didn't have a great game, but we won. the first line played like crap for 55 minutes, but won the game when it mattered. we had defensive breakdowns, but made plays when they absolutely had to be made. what's important is we played hard, if not overly well.

some will complain it wasn't pretty, and it wasn't. but most of the time it isn't when you win on the road. we're now 10-4 on the road. remember, we only won 17 games on the road in the entire last year.

we're now 16-5-2. a .739 winning percentage. a 121 point pace.

we won, despite never being really able to establish a forecheck (until the awful rathje turnover to kariya). we won despite the powerplay failing to score a goal. we won despite hitting 2 crossbars, and also not scoring on three clean breakaways by our two offensive stars. we won despite a couple of defensive breakdowns. we won because of hustle, effort and mason. never a bad combination.

i see some saying legwand had a weak game, and in the offensive zone he kind of did. despite leading the team with 4 shots on net. to be honest, i'm not saying he played well, but legwand could have easily had three assists tonight on the three point blank kariya shots. but i think some are missing the point, what legwand's assignment was tonight was forsberg. he lead the team in icetime, because trotz tried to get him out there against forsberg head up. note forsberg's chances, came when he wasn't matched with legwand. both shots, and his assist. defensively, legwand contributed.

mason was excellent in general, even though i admit he got help on a couple of posts himself. still, he played very well in general.

radulov. i thought he might have a little more time/space against the flyer d. this kid has to have a guy to get him the puck in scoring spots. has to. what a shot he made, what a shot on the one that nichol almost knocked the rebound in. everyone blaming rads on the goal gievn up, and it was his guy. but the fact was also that the defense in front of him played that one like crap as well, basically leaving a two on one in front of the net to double up wide. sure, he might give up some defensive goals. but that won't change the fact he'll generate three times as many offensively during that time. this kid could well lead this team in goalscoring this frigging year getting 10 minutes of icetime a game.

one of the fun things about hockey, is how quickly the entire game can turn around. they tie it up, and boom a minute later we steal it back. or like the fact, what a poor game erat had played right up until he makes the perfect ripping shot. or that kariya had struggled, and boom, he steals the game. one of the more exciting things about hockey.

another good night to be a pred fan.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I think its safe to say that Legwand had a hot/cold game. He made some really good plays and some really bad plays. Defensively, he almost always brings it....its in the offensive end or carrying the puck that we see the inconsistencies in his game (which for the most part this year, have been non-existant).

Not a pretty win, but a good win. I think this was the first time in the last few games that we kept the other team under 30 shots for the game. Good win for the Dads! Radulov, I can't believe how he can just find the net with what seems like every shot.

Hopefully we come back with a strong game in St.Louis. You know they want to beat us bad after we swept them last year.

I am so tired of this...come on Preds, what about the other counties!? I live in Sumner but how the hell would I know what channel to watch it on? I get that most of the players live in Williamson, but there are fans in other counties!!! /end rant

I'm not sure about the other channels, but 28 is indeed FSN South in Sumner county.
