Habs Vintage Jerseys (3rd Jersey)

Watching the game last night, I've made up my mind that instead of buying the home red jersey, I want the Vintage one. Now the issue I have is where can I find one to buy. Not a replica, but authentic one and be able to buy it in Canada or can be sent to Canada.

Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated. I'd love to get it before Xmas so I can wear it proudly during my Xmas holidays.

And you can't red the numbers. Even the announcers have trouble.

I havent but I've check out jersey's on their site for the past couple of years. They are getting great feedback http://www.bizrate.com/ratings_guide...id--21485.html "Customer Certified".

I'll be getting it without a number..just plain as I'm cursed when I get players. Got Richer and he gets traded to the Devils, then Dionne and he went MIA.

Thanks so much. Looks like I'll be putting my order in tonight.

Anyone else with feedback or other alternatives?

I guess it's not too bad if you dont put a name on it.

Because otherwise, i was at the game last night and

Habs red jersey >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Habs white vintage jersey.

By a country mile.

I like the red jersey as well and if/when I decide to get a players name, I would buy one then. Plus, I like the fact that this Vintage jersey will never get ruined as players always get traded...especially the ones I cheer for most. :S

I got Roy way back, but he didn't get traded until 5 years later. I got a Lemieux Pens jersey back then, too, that turned out well. And I just ordered one of these jerseys with Koivu on it. You can't go wrong with Saku, but with your luck, I'd prefer you don't get his jersey.

That's because you can't read the numbers. Commentators on Centre Ice (because they aren't CBC or RDS commentators) complain about it every time they're worn. It's the reason why every play is described as "a montreal forward throws the puck in front of the net and a shot is taken". You never get names (you have to do it yourself).

I just completed my set this weekend

I was in Ft. Myers florida of all places and picked up a Montreal Canadiens white jersey. I am still trying to figure out what name and number to put on it.

So far my habs collection includes

1.habs white vintage jersey with #11 Koviu athentic stiching
2.habs red jersey with #44 on the back, was Richer, but had the authentic name bar changed to my last night
3. Habs baseball jersey (very cool) with#4 with Mr. Beliveau name on the back.
4. Habs new white practice jersey with the red trim (A little too big for me)
5. Habs old CCM practice jersey(blue)....no name on the back.

Of course, if they change the NHL jersey's next year, I will have to buy new habs jersey.... if I like it!

I think the vintage white jerseys are far better looking than the red ones, but the red ones are much more practical since like people said you can actually read the numbers.

True, but that's why I'm not gonna get any number on it.

I might get a red one and have Richer on it...ah, the memories though lately, I'm thinking of....Lats or Kostitsyn.

I have a personalized vintage one with my name and number on it. My only complaint is that damn Latendresse had to make the team and ruin my #84... Now people who see my sleeve numbers will mistake me for a Tender lover, which I am not... Anyways, what I really want now is the Red one. I think it's classic and clearly the best looking one.

Anyways, www.icejerseys.com is a very reliable store with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them

I have the white Heritage vintage. Very nice and comfortable. It's just like a regular wool shirt.

There wasn't any fight strap in 1944.

If you seen the movie the Rocket, I have the white one, but without the shoe lace at the neck.

I've ordered from them on a couple of occassions and they do a great job. Always had friendly replies to emails, they ship quickly and I've always been happy with the jerseys.

I got a replica vintage white with my name and number on it too. No problems for me with regards to the number being associated with someone I don't like, my number is 19.

Next up for me, either some new Hamilton Bulldogs jerseys or a Habs RBK practice jersey (the white w/ red one)

You know you could always try to remove the "RICHER" and then you'd have yourself a Souray jersey. I'm not sure what kind of jersey you have/how strong the stitching/adhesive is.
