Frank is in the zone. Very sharp. A bit of luck too.

I agree...although I don't think he would be very good even if healthy, it has to suck to be crippled due to injury. Aside from the obvious benefits for the Flyers, he really should strongly consider retirement. It's not worth going through that much pain and strain on his family to play a game that he's not effective at anymore anyway. It's not like he doesn't have the cash (plus wouldn't he still receive his salary if he retires due to injury?)

The one thing that still worries me about this team is that popgun offense they have. I just can't understand why they aren't burying more offensive chances. I know about people being snakebit, but this is one of the few teams I've ever seen that just cannot score. Defensively, things have really come around and there is an overall improvement in play. I'm happy about that. However, the focus now has to shift to the offensive side of the game and learning how to finish chances. It's messed.

It was a chance right in front... can't blame Nitty for that. The team fell asleep for the ensuing 2 shifts after going up 3-0 and got burned for it. Hope that doesn't turn the momentum in the Islanders' favor... we gotta come out strong in the third, get after them, and put this game away.

Any chance of another update? Looking good still, nice to see another PP goal, Knuble as well. Goal too late in period for Islanders to get any momentum? Gotta hope so.

they look tired out there right now, not winning any battles or defensive zone faceoffs
