Who starts the first game against Anaheim? Cloutier or Brust?

Seriously, Clouts has to get the start. Crow is making the call and hesitates to start Garon over Clouts, plus he thinks the "kid" isn't really ready for it. No way he starts Jabba.

Bring back Fiset, or Dafoe or Potvin. Anyone but Cloutier!

If Garon isn't healthy, Cloutier will start.

Hell- sign Bernier! =)

If SlinkySpine can only play one of the two, I'd rather have him play at Staples to give the home town fans some hope. Health permitting, of course.

I'm sure it'll go to Cloutier, though- makes sense to be cautious / protective about Garon's health for the future instead of pushing it now. Two straight against the top team in the Western Con = not the ideal situtation for Clouts to try to FINALLY find his game, though..... He really needs to be doing that in the "A". Sigh.....

He's already signed. As someone noted, though, the Kings can't touch him in the Q mid-season. Besides, many goalies have been ruined or stunted by bad teams panicking and rushing them.

doubtful, and yesterday I predicted we go 0-5-1 the next 6 games so we'll see just how close I come.

I sure don't expect to see Garon in any of them...Fukufuji instead of Brust and hope Cloutier doesn't continue to embarrass us too badly is the best we can hope for. then again the worse he continues to do the more likely management will actually DO something

I'm actually surprised he hasn't gotten booed more at home...been kinda lucky the Kings have played decent there and fans were giving him a little bit more of a break at the start of the season, to wait and see what happened

Why? He was in Manchester last night backing up Labarbera, and during the pre-game warmup he was a sieve. He couldn't stop anything unless it was hit into him. The team seemed to actually lighten up on him some so as not to embarrass him too badly. Hopefully his lack of ability is more a result of his (constant) state of injury rather than ability. He's no where near ready for a game in the NHL and he's not half the goalie Brust is...figuratively and literally.

Don't put too much weight into warm-ups. During a Kings-Sharks game I attended, Nabokov was the rookie back-up. He did not make a single save during warm-ups, and my buddy and myself were like, "This Nabokov sucks. He's going back to Kansas for sure." Well, we were wrong.

Crawford wouldn't dare start Brust, because if Brust plays a good game, Cloutier is ****ed.
