interesting...
I think playing Gagné as second line center could work, he and Willy work very well together. I don't think we should have any problems winning tonight, as long as we play better than we did in Montreal.
Columbus is a different team at home than they are on the road, so we should take it to to them early to get the crowd out of it. I'm curious on who they will use to shadow Rick Nash who is having an almost pefect season thus far.

Flyers 5 (Roenick, Gagné, Handzus, Leclair, Recchi)
Columbus 2 (Nash 2g) --- hopefully for my pool's sake

Interesting but Gags hasn't played center till his juniors years...

Can somebody tell me why Hitch doesn't put simply Chouiny centering the 4th line??? He's a centre!

Hitch doesn't seem to care for Choui much. Whenever given the option he always seems to start Fedorek over him. Why? I'm not quite sure, never have been a Fridge fan.

I actually like the idea of Gags centering Willy and Leclair. I always thought one of Gags problems was that he never seems to carry the puck enough and maybe now he will carry it and distribute more than in the past. With Willy setting him up with that quick release it could be nice. I really like the idea of two of our quickest young players playing together. Not quite sure how Leclair will keep up with them but hopefully he will park himself in front and let those two fly around the ice.

I'm going to go with this score:

Flyers - 6
Jackets - 2

Especially with Roenick's line be back, I see a deluge of goals.
Funny how the boys are back together with the two biggest games of the season coming up on Friday and Saturday.

About time! Big goal by kapanen, this would have been a disappointing loss to a poor team, hopefully we can get the win in OT.

Lucky to tie it, but they should've gotten two while on the PP almost the entire OT.

True... It seemd like Recchi held onto the puck too long, while on the point. It should be a quick pass, and shoot, and it was way too many passes.

That was a great game from both sides. This goes to show you that no matter what the team record is for a team like Columbus, they are still going to give everything they got. They have nothing to lose. We should have had the game in OT. Give it up to Braithwaite, the man was spectacular. I'll take the point. I have to give it up to Sami, what a little giant out there. Dorny said it best, he's 5'10 but plays like he's 6'4.

Observations:
I think Kerry Frasier's hair didn't make the bump hurt so much. It gave him some padding. Just goes to show that these refs get in the way too damn much.

What the hell is with Zherdev? He's punching people, chopping at them, and tripping? What, are the refs giving him a free pass because he doesn't speak the language?

Nash looked good. The kid will be another Joe Thornton. This team is going to be a good team in a few years.

Let's get ready for Friday.

Debbies are going down.

From the book Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, made into a movie by Stanley Kubric. Great cult film.

Zherdev? Man, the Flyers got every call tonight. As a long time hockey fan and a CBJ fan since day one...I can tell you that every team gets the benefit of the doubt against the CBJ. Especially Eastern Conference teams and the Wings.

Man are you guys good! I wish Shelley and Brashear would have went.
