No kidding, with the Thrashers losing their last 2 we haven't lost any ground but we certainly haven't helped ourselves in this trip either. Let's kick it up a notch or five tonight and get a ****ing W. Powerplay has to be working tonight unlike the last 6 games in order for us to have a chance.

The worst we can do is actually 0-3-1.

Anyhow, is the result so far any worse than can be realistically expected? We are mediocre on the road and playing three games in four nights after travelling eleven billion miles only makes it worse.

Grahame gets the start tonight according to the N&O.

There's no official word and he's likely a game-time decision. I'd start someone else in place of him until you're sure he is back in the lineup.

Grahame eh? Hmmm.....

I hope Theo gets the start tonight. I know he played pretty good his last outing...and we all know how much Cole loves playing against him.

Rod the Bod is apparently out for tonight if you check carolina's website.. they also said they may have to be without stillman tonight.. the only good sign for stillman is that he had a full practice yesterday but Rod left the ice early and they were concerned.. so im still waiting to hear confirmation on stillman but it looks like Rod is out

Ugh, bad sign if both are still out. I figure we need to at least win this game out of this trip to avoid falling too far back. Having Stillman and especially Brindy out makes matters very much worse in attempting to do so.

Dec 11- After missing the entire season thus far while recovering from shoulder surgery, Stillman is "cautiously optimistic" that he'll play in Monday's game at Colorado, according to the Raleigh News & Observer.

Just thought I would throw that tid bit out there. I am guessing he doesnt play and gets the extra 3 days off, but we shall see.

This one sounds more positive:

thanks for nod, cg!

i assure you all......

BLEEDGREEN IS IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT!

keep a lookout for a big goofy guy in a whalers hat, likely a jersey as well - i would say normally i would be hard to find....but i may be the only guy in denver aside from my best friend who's going with me that even know who the whalers were. six of us will be in the lower bowl. maybe the nc broadcast will catch me cheering a goal.

what really sucks is this whole once every three years bit. its already been awhile since theyve been here - and ill likely go insane waiting till 2009-10 to see them again. ive already seen ward and staal live when i caught them in lowell during the lockout - but ive never seen cole/williams/ladd/babs etc.

i usually root for the avs most nights, but i cant say how happy i am to be going to the pepsi center to actually watch MY team.

quebec vs hartford! if only ronnie was still around to face off against sakic. go canes! ill check in after the game.

gotta go, its beer thirty.

I hope if Stillman can actually play, that he plays. We need a win, badly and Brind'Amour is already out.

Great move by Staal, no goal but he drew the hook.

Agree with what Lavi just said about the PP - start shooting, we're trying to create something pretty. It doesn't have to be pretty.

I think that counts as shooting. Williams from Stillman and I think Staal. Love having the most underrated point-per-gamer in the league back.

Grahame has been excellent.

Maybe we need to go watch some film of last year. there are so many things we don't do now - like the stretch pass. There have been at least four opportunities and only once have we tried to do it. I could see it if the 4th line is out, but its all of them.

How are we doing? I swore off of watching this game on account of me having my history exam tomorrow.
