Are u kidding me with this dude??? What the hell is wrong with him? Didnt I call it??? They asked if he reaggrivated his groin during practice and they said, "no comment" This is really getting annoying. This guy is rediculous. How can u have this many problems when u are so young??? I cannot believe this. On Oct 22nd i think it was, it was supposed to be 10-14 days. Its December 10th now and we still have no idea and he probably is not even close. This guy really pisses me off. I really feel bad for u Wild fans. So much talent with Gabby and Demitra, but they play a combined 20 games a season. Believe me, I know the feeling. I live in Philly with Forsberg.

Jeez, just trade him already or put him on waivers and pick up someone else.

Obviously none of you understand how a finely tuned athlete works. Gaborik is and will remain the best player on the team. The man is injured for gods sake, he didn't get as good as he is by just skipping out on purpose. He will be back and when he is everyone who looked down on him will see that this time that he is taking is well spent.

Actually guys , not everyone who comes in here to complain about Gaborik is a fantasy owner. In fact what we are all saying is the cold and hard truth.

Being a former fantasy owner of Gaborik myself , I couldn't take it anymore and I did the smart thing and actually found someone to take off my hands. This poor sucker thought he was nearing a comeback in a week or two and now he is stuck with him.

The truth is no matter how much you don't wanna hear it ...Gaborik is not only damaged goods but quite honestly it would be very hard for me to think of another player who is more injury prone and more brittle in all of PRO SPORTS ( don't say Ruutu cause he is healthy now and doing pretty well)
Gaborik seriously has a worse groin problem than most men in thier 50's and 60's do and I think any hockey fan just shakes their head and cracks a little bit of a laugh when Gaborik is mentioned now.

There actually was a time not too long ago where Gaborik was mentioned in the same sentence as young studs such as Ovechkin , Crosby , Havlat , Hossa, Heatley , Gagne. But now he will always have the label of "If" and Maybe" cause he will be so limited in what he can do until he overcomes this problem once and for all.

I keep saying what a damn shame it is cause every season it gets worse and worse and it is keeping him from being a top player in the league and 90 and eventually 100 pt player. And when he does eventually come back it will be seriously doubted if he will be able to be at his best and if he will take the same chances he used to.`

So no....I'm not bashing or making fun of him cause I am a fan of Gabby but I'm just saying it like it is.

And on an update on him I have heard on Center Ice and NHL Network he definitly won't be back before the New Year. It's now getting into early January

Well you need to understand that although gabby gets hurt, he still produces. He had basically as many goals as any of those young studs and played 20 less games. You are right he needs to overcome his groin problem, but when he does you will be comparing those guys to Gabby the Slovakian Rocket.

Poor Gabbbss...
One of my favorite players in todays game

Also, a 3rd round pick for me in my fantasy pool. Thankfully, I'm still in first ranked with my sleepers paying off, picking up for my injury prone stars.
But I don't think you guys wanna hear any more on with Pools and Gaborik, sorry.
Good luck in getting him back, the guy's dynamite with Demitra (who I also have in my pool and both are losing from the lack of Gabs) and I'd appreciate the next update on his injury.

The only thing I heard is that he is not making the 3-game Western Canada road trip.

I am not particularily a Minnesota fan, but I am a Gaborik fan, and it kills me to see him on the shelf all the time. He is such an explosive offensive player and I can't wait for his return.
Yes I have him in one of my fantasy leagues. No that is not why I care about his health.

That would be difficult, considering he's not even on the road trip.

• Right winger Marian Gaborik, who has missed 24 games because of a strained groin, will meet the team in Vancouver today. Gaborik, who has been skating, has been in Vancouver since Tuesday being reevaluated by his physiotherapist. Asked if Gaborik will practice with the team, GM Doug Risebrough said, "I do not know."

Wow. Seems like more really helpful news. So still, we have no ****ing clue when he will play. They should just trade him for a couple skate keys.

Gaborik flew to LA, he's only at 85%.

My guess is he's out at four more weeks.

So he's going back to the same specialist that got him back in the line up last year. Why didn't he just go there to begin with?

As a huge Wild fan (and not a fantasy owner...ever) hes the worst person to have on your team (Fantasy and real) outside of NHL07 lol. Seriously he gets injured all the time, he signed his 3-year contract so hes still getting paid...this is just like when he held out for half the damn season. He is a greedy player who gets pissy when he can't win.

Honestly I would trade his crying *** to someone and at least pick up someone who doesn't complain as much as he does. Hes on pace for a what??? 30 game season so far? Hes missed out on 2 full months of games and has fewer goals/assists than former SCSU player Ryan Malone who was injured at the beginning of the year lol.

I'm all for trade of this guy, don't need him anyways. Lets get some Defensive players so we can actually stop the GA.

wild need a dynamic player like gaborik...

yes he's injured a lot...

but without him we are a very average team, with him we are potent.

Even with him, we are an average team. He may score goals, but he can't do that injured. And whos to say we could pull in someone who is just as dynamic? I think the only reason people don't want to get rid of him sometimes is b/c hes basically the only all-star caliber player we technically have. Rolston is a wonderful player but compared to other people at his position, hes still average.
