So...what's the real team? the one of the first 12 games of the one of the last 10 games?
Well, they're not going to win by 4 or 5 goals every night, but I think the odds are that they're closer to the more recent team. Hamilton had a pretty massive overhaul of their roster this year, adding all sorts of guys: Grabovksy, D'Agostini, Sortini, Baines, Manlow, O'Byrne, Aubin (who is now gone), and so on. Lots of these guys are playing major roles with the team too, so it's expected that they would take some time to come together as a team and really start to click. At the start of the year I figured the Dogs would get out to a slow start, but should be one of the better teams in the league by the end of the year. Seems like they've turned it around about a month before I thought they would, which is great. That's the reason I decided to wait until after Christmas for my yearly trip to go see the Dogs play.
