I'm confused, how does this sound promising for Alfie?

Neither his or Redden's injury seem to have much hope for a quick return

Sounds kind of promising for Alfie. It hurts to be missing Redden, but he's more easily replaced than Alfie at this point.
I hope Alfie doesnt come back before he is completely ready.
I think he came back too soon after his rib injury last year.

I just heard both guys interviewed on the Score. Alfie sounded more optimistic than Redden. It sounds like Redden can't shoot and doesn't feel like he's very close to returning. Looks like he'll have to remain our 6.5 million dollar secret weapon. Let's hope he crams in an allstar season's worth of play into April, May and June.

Because "day to day" is more promising than "at least 7-10 days"? Just a guess.

...because Alfie is "day to day"; also, the fact that he's even "questionable" for this weekend's road trip means that it's at least being considered

Except for the fact that it's a four game road trip. That may mean that 7-10 days was about right.

All I know is Murray said after the last game that it's not likely.

Alfie seems fit enough to the point were his injuries don't sideline him too long. I'm not worried. He'll be back soon enough.
