You were attempting to prove that Washington and Ottawa were tied by assuming that Washington will take 3 points out of a possible 4 in the two games in hand that they have.

Ottawa was in the bottom two in the conference not that long ago. It's not that far away.

That's a lot of points derived from losses. Interesting.

Anyway, nice to see the work ethic paying off and resulting in a more competitive Caps team.

Playoff spots will no longer be easy to come by with increased competitiveness in the Conference.

My fantasy team lost today so hopefully the Sens will make up for it with a win.

The Sens are currently 17th place in the nhl using baseball style pct. Caps are ahead of us because of games in hand.

Last game we chased Kolzig, only to give up 4 goals. That was the game when Ovechkin said the Sens mocked him after getting up. Ya right. Some good head games from OV.

Tough time to face them though. Missing Redden and Alfie, Volchenkov banged up, winning some maybe we didnt deserve? Tonight would be the night to bet against the Sens I think. Just the odds, they're so due. If i could bring myself to bet against the Sens, tonight would be the night i'd do it.

This should be a really good game. Go Sens go

Enjoy the game, Sens fans. Your team is usually pretty fun to watch, and I'm looking forward to it. Let's Go Caps!

It's fun to look back at Chris Phillips' career. Around 10 years ago he was playing right wing for the Ottawa Senators. You couldn't have traded him for a 3rd round pick. I remember going to a game and as soon as he touched the puck he'd get booed. Fans would yell "Phillips You Suck" after pretty much every shift. How the times change as confidence builds.

Now he's a solid NHL veteran defensemen, and looks like it, as he gets the "C" sewn on his chest.

These next three games are absolute must wins for Ottawa. Next week will be the true test to see what this tema is made of.

Next week: Detroit, Nashville, Buffalo

It would be awsome if we ran the table in those 3 games, I think we'll beat Nashville, not sure about the other two games. Dom might be a wall agasint us because he offered to play for cheap and we still let him go (thats gotta hurt) and we beat Buffalo 2 times in a row, theyre going to come out HARD.

Hamel Bois Gratts as 4th line, looks good. I expect they will have chances to fight

Heatley gets the 'A' over Spezza. Naturally I guess, Heaters play thus far has earned it. Heatley with the A will make a good avatar

Wow, Gratts destroyed Erskine! Good stuff for someone who is barely on the ice.
