Im DYING for him to come back, I'm dead last in my pool for the goalies points because of his injury...

Do you guys expect him to take the front-man spot as soon as he gets back, or is Mason doing well and could challenge his spot?

No, Vokoun is our #1 and will be the starter once he's back.

You guys shouldnt be complaining any team would die for a backup like mason. But i thought vokoun is suppose to be back within a week or two.

Mason's great. I won my draft last year when I picked him up for the finish, and now I'm riding him again. 4 wins last week! This week is a tough call, though. Chicago and Buffalo are hard games right now, but I'm still leaning towards starting him over DiPietro.

Here's hoping Vokoun takes his time to make sure he's 100%! With a back-up like Mason, there's no reason to rush him.

Vokoun is the starter. Mason has been good, but Tomas is the heart of this team.

Early-to-mid January for Vokoun's return. He's skating on his own and working with the goaltender coach. But there was a small fracture in his thumb along with the ligament damage, so it will definitely be after New Years.

Vokoun's the heart and soul of this team, no question. But it is good to know we've got such a reliable back-up in Mason. And Mason's such a nice guy - good to see him succeed in this opportunity. Good for the team as well.
