Speculation: Chicago interested in cheap forward?

Chicago feeling the pain
TheFourthPeriod.com

If 10-game winless streak is bad enough, the Chicago Blackhawks suffered yet another blow to the roster... and another.

Steve Sullivan and Alexander Karpovtsev have been added to an ever-growing injury list.

Sullivan has what the Hawks were calling a sore back, and Karpovtsev has a possible bone chip in his ankle.

The Blackhawks now have Jocelyn Thibault (hip surgery), Alexie Zhamnov (back surgery), Eric Daze (herniated back disk), Steve McCarthy (groin strain), Jason Strudwick (facial cut), Sullivan and Karpovtsev on the aforementioned injured list.

Could this prompt the team to make a move?

Reports out of Chicago suggest the team may be looking for some kind of assistance and they struggle through their woes.

Whenever we think we've got bad luck, there's always Chicago....

I really feel sorry for them, it's always terrible to see such a historic team have this many player problems, especially when they're struggling to draw in fans...

But on the flip side, these injury problems are opening the door for tons of young or rookie forwards: Arnason, Calder, Bell, McLean, Radulov, Nieminen, Ruutu, Moen and Vorobiev have all played regularly this year.

I'd go for Yakubov... he's looked good so far and he's got sick skills

acquiring Yakubov or Radulov will be sick but I doubt they would give any of them especially for what we would offer.

Well they did take Berezin off our hands, maybe we can unload Audette, Dackell, Juneau, Sundstrom & somebody like Rivet or Quintal for a pick.
