I think Mihnov lacks the speed to be an NHL fulltimer and lacks the sniper skills to be the new Andreychuk of the NHL. He's probably more suited for European Hockey. He's got good hands though!!!
I agree with that. Speed is thye main thing that he lacks to play in NHL.
He doesn't play with Yashin and Yashin not exactly dominate RSL so far.
As for Yashin, I think he's suffered of overly huge expectations all his live. I don't think he's ever had any super talents, but was always groomed as a super star. In reality he's a just a good - very good player, and now the age is catching up. He's still a really good RSLer though.
I totaly agree Mikhnov has great hands but doesn't seem to do a whole lot else.
As for yashin i've watched a number of Loko's games this year and well i have not seen him do a whole lote either. As for Loko's team i LOVE Galimov!!
He has taken some flak for not giving his defensive responsibilities enough effort, but apart from that, I wouldn't say he is struggling. He had somewhat of a slow start to the season, but he seems to have come alive as of late.
Slitty, do you have any info on Alexander Perezhogin ?! He might be injured because I saw that he only played 11 games this season while his teammates like Konstantin Koltsov has played 15 games...
Petrov is not physical? I wonder why you think so. What your opinion is based on (except this guys' stats), have you ever seen how each of them play?
I agree. Petrov's main problem now is not in physical aspect. From what I saw this season form him, I'd say his worst part is his skating. It looks like he wants to do something, but his legs deny and he falls. He falls to often.
The second BIG problem is that he doesn't use partners. He always plays for himself. Maybe he just doesn't see the ice well.
These two things aside Petrov is a great prospect. Skating can be improved, but vision of the ice is something natural, you cant learn it.
Is Vitaly Atyushov as dominant as the numbers suggest? 19 points in 17 games from the blueline?
Can anyone give a little bit of feedback on Atyushov's play.
He's now at 21 points in 19 games. From what I can gather from last year statistics, the best offensive totals for Russian defenceman last year was about 40 points in 50 games, so, a guy nearing the halfway point on pace to go over a point per game as a defenceman seems pretty impressive.
I've found that the numbers never really match. Is one site more "up to date" than the other?
Or are these the best source for up-to-date stats?
All i need is "GP-W-L-GAA-SV%"
Can anyone give a little bit of feedback on Atyushov's play.

Atyushov playing in the Mettalurg, Metallurg has the best PP unit in the RSL, i think that's main reason why he has so many points. But it's only 20 games..
