Was Nikolai Kulemin really named MVP of the 2006-2007 RSL season?

Lol, I believe you.

Nevertheless, I can't believe Kulemin was chosen over Morozov.

Kulemin helped his team to win championship, Morozov didn't. I think it's as simple as that.

Yuri Alexandrov

Anyone with any information on how Yuri is developing? I saw he already has a goal this year after only scoring one last year...has he put on any weight? Any general analysis would be appreciated. Thanks!

Mikhnov was 23 PTS in 24 games thus far, leading his team in scoring. He's surpassed his career high totals......

Any chance he'll stick in the NHL?

For those that have seen Anton Babchuk, his numbers look good with 5 goals and 8 assists for 12 points and a +13 rating so far this season ....does he look like he has turned a corner in his development and do you think he will sign with Carolina after the season if they offer him a one way deal?

Both doing very well, Shirokov after slow beginning start scoring points and Kablukov is surpass my expectations. Last season after watching him i was thinking what he is just a future 3rd liner, but this season he is show flash of good offensive talent even in his limited role in CSKA. I think if Shirokov former teammates Zubov and Nikulin make Sens roster, he also will try himself in Vancouver.

He looks like 3-4 NHL def, big mean and rectilineal. All his points from his mighty slapper, he doesn't pass much . RSL not for him, i'm 100% sure next season he will be in NHL or AHL.

He was like 4-5 min on ice in last games. His coach in Salavat said that by some strange reason when he go to Det he was in very good shape but when he come back he was in bad shape.

Oleg Saprykin

Just curious about a favourite player of mine...
How is he doing in the RSL this season?
He was quite solid for Ottawa in the playoffs last year.
Any chance he returns to the NHL after his RSL contract is up?

Shastin

A few season ago Jegor Shastin played a season for Ambri in Switzerland, since then his career was going downstairs.
Now i saw he's playing in the 1. Russian league again with Torpedo and has good stats. 28 games, 5 goals and 11 assists, Top50 in topscorerlist in Russia!!

Can someone telling me something about him, he is in good shape now (remember he was a "little bit fat") and how is his skating now?

Thanks

i highly doubt that. Must have been something else. He couldnt have been in any worse shape then when he came to detroit. At one point he almost threw up on the ice he was so over-worked.

Has Roman Voloshenko played at all yet?

Can someone here find out what happened to Konstantin Volkov for me please?

He played 16 games for Vityaz Chekhov this season (third/fourth line plugger though), but following the Karjala Cup went completely AWOL on me. I haven't been able to find his stats anymore or figure out why and where he disappeared to.

Can't figure it out.

Sounds good. Hopefully Shirokov will come over and give it a try at least.
