Tim P.'s blog from a few minutes ago:

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=4150

No Petr Nedved at Flyers practice this morning. I suspect he was shipped back to the Phantoms. He has not played well in weeks now.

No Lars Jonsson. I suspect he was sent down, as well. Peter Forsberg is practicing but he slipping and falling again. He will see an engineer this afternoon at Temple University about designing a right skate boot.

New first line: Gagne-Calder-Knuble.

The pride of Archbishop Ryan and the Philadelphia Catholic Leaguie _ Tony Voce _ is on a line with R.J. Umberger and Stefan Ruzicka. Matt Ellison is skating with Todd Fedoruk and Randy Robitaille.

I count 6 Phantoms out there among the 12 forwards.

Well he's been skating regularly and is a 14-year vet. I don't think he's forgotten how to play just because he's missed the first two months. Let's see in the next two weeks who has more points...Bondra or Tony Voce...or Matt Ellison...or Boyd Kane...or whatever other 3rd line Phantoms gets recalled.

Not sure if it was mentioned in another thread, but Nedved will not return to the Flyers again.

I wonder where many non-church going Flyers fans will be this Sunday? It seems the waiving of Nedved has restored many people's faith.

Asked whether his career as a Flyer were over _ no more recalls back to this club _ general manager Paul Holmgren said, "Yeah."
http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=4157

Asked if this was the last go-round for Nedved with the Flyers, team general manager Paul Holmgren said: "I think that's safe to say."

I feel like my dream has finally come true I just hope Holmgren sticks to his word
