I think it's time for a good ol' Roy vs. someone fight if they don't get going in the 3rd.

I'll start this by saying that I find many Leafs fans on this board to be some of the least biased posters site wide.

Having said that, how no one in their GDT is thanking the refs for that crap is beyond me.

I guess the league has figured the Leafs have lost too many in a row.
That's the only solace I can take from this. We can lose by bad calls, but they can have every favorable call and still not get a Stanley Cup in 40 years

BTW, he was covering the point, the puck went over his stick.

Also, I don't know why Holmqvist went left on that 2 on 0. He should have held out, at such a proximity it was almost obvious the shot would come from his right side.

I'll agree it was a bad call, however, I don't think you can fault the reffing. This goes back to the Denis vs. Boyle debate from the last game. Yeah, it was a bad call, but if Ranger doesn't totally take himself out of position on that play, we might not be talking about a goal right now.

Bottom line is, the Leafs scored 2 other goals that you can't blame on the refs. Tampa let them back into this game.

1967 is the chant so it's 40 years. With how many time I've seen it said on the site, I've remembered it by now.

Oh ok. So if a Leaf is tripped it's a penalty. If a Lightning player is tripped, it's legal.

It's possible he expected a call...he did seem surprised to see the puck being played.

This isn't much like that debate. This should have been a penalty. And now they're up by one. What BS.

Two goals is still less than three. Just like three is less than four.

Wow, we suck.

I saw the replay of the Boyle-trip, Ranger could use some AHL time..

Holmqvist has to start covering his shortside better.

There is absolutley no way to rationalize calling that penalty and not calling the blatant slash/trip that led to the Leafs' third goal. This is amazingly bad. I know it's probably just a concidence, but it sure seems like some home cooking when we play in Toronto.

I'm willing to bet that there won't be a call for Pratt getting killed after that icing.

We suck, the refs suck, my life sucks.

I have more of a problem with that hit after the whistle not being called.

And then Pratt gets hit on a play that will obviously be icing. That's not finishing a check as far as I'm concerned. And of course I'm sure they'll get off scot-free. I think the last time I used that phrase was when OJ was acquitted.

Not even when we play in Toronto. Wasn't our last game against them, where the same thing happened, at home?

Look at Lecavalier getting hooked in the face and not even being in the play! This is absolutely ridiculous!

Ok, this is starting to get bad. They need to call something here or this game is going to get real ugly.
