Higgins (merged)

Did anybody know if Higgins will come back against Tampa Bay ?

I though heard that yesterday on RIS ?

Perhaps I'm wrong.

Insider information that you can take to the bank!

Thanks for the update Kev. I can't wait till Chris is back in the lineup, because our team is playing well as it is.

I love Higgins as much as the next guy, but he's not god or approaching deity status. We need him bad, but I don't think our record would be any different if he stayed healthy, maybe one more win, I dunno. Love him, cheer for him, but don't over-hype him.

Did you watch even a single game of the Habs since the Olympic break last year ?

This guy is the franchise player, cheer for him doesn't mean over hype him.

Chris Higgins is my GOD, cheer Jesus's father if you want !

Hurray! Is time for dancing time!

Is he going to be ready for Tampa? I can't read French, but it sounds like he's good to go, is there a chance he wont get the greenlight?

doesnt say if they will give it to him..

just says that carbo will gradually put him back in the line up and he is not Ignoring the fact of using him at center.

also says..souray, rivet, bouillon, begin and kovalev didnt practice today.

Huet is in nets tommorow

and the habs made their yearly stop at St Justines hospital.

They said that Higgins fell allright. He said he's ready but he's waiting to have the greenlight of the medical staff. They don't know if he'll be ready against Tampa Bay, he's return was scheduled against the Pittsburgh Penguins saturday.

BTW Carbo said its not impossible to see Higgins at center.

Yep, that's why he looked lost after Koivu left the playoffs last year.

Here you go, blame to rookie.

We all know you're locked on Koivu.

Hey man, I'm not messing with you. I love Higgins, I just said don't over-hype him, franchise player sounds like over-hype. How many franchise players are in the league? 5-10 maybe? Important player to the Habs, yes, but franchise is pushing it.

By definition 30.

He's our franchise player like Koivu has been our franchise player for the last 10 years.
