And I'm not talking about a slapshot from the blue line; I'm talking about splitting the defense, for example, and going in on the goalie one-on-one. I guess it's been ages. What a nostalgia trip...

FWIW,

Last year Berard did it twice. Once he took a puck behind his net and went all the way along the left boards.

And the other he collected a pass at his own blueline and took it along the left boards to the goal.

I dont remember anyone else doing it last year.
