P-Bruins getting shellacked by Manchester tonight

Thomas started the game... let in 4 goals on 14 shots. Toivonen came in has given up 3 goals on 11 shots thusfar.

Adam Hauser (invite to Bruins training camp last season) is working on the shutout for the Monarchs... 16/16 thusfar.

Last night's blueline standouts (Kevin Dallman, Peter Metcalf) are the goats for tonight... a whopping -6 and -5 respectively.

Ouch! That defense is a mess right now. Looked like a promising bunch (at the AHL level) at the start of the season. What the heck is going on!?!?

I dunno what's up with the D in Providence... unfortunately, their offense is taking an extended vacation as well in recent weeks.

Well, Jurcina is +/- of 0 with 2 shots on net so he's watched atleast 6 on the bench- didn't check to see if any powerplay goals; and Morrisonn isn't playing. Samuelsson is finally healthy and is playing and he too is a 0 in +/-.

I hate games like this, especially for the goaltenders, kills there beautiful stats which Nugs jinxly posted earlier. And it's also too bad for Dallman and Metcalf, they were doing so well.

The team should get a boost least offensively when Hilbert gets back into the lineup. At the AHL level Hilbert is a stud, hope he comes back soon.
