What can we say? We've bought into Hitch's system ourselves!

This concerns me, and I as much predicted it. What does this say?

This concerns me even more because we have a lot of games between now and then. Our defense has got to be getting tired.

One way to counteract this is to score the hell out of the net.
Another is to stay out of the damn penalty box.

We got a point and are 6-3-1 under Hitch......that's 13 points in 10 games....awesome. Now we pick up the pieces from teh dessert and start again.

The only things concerning me about the game are Norrena (which is just a glitch, he will resume stellar play staurday), and our shootout failures. We must start winning in OT/SO's...we need that point. I do not agree with shooters we put up.

Z, Nash, Modin would have been my picks.....

One small note....Norrena for some reason is not looking behind himself on shots that he knows may have gotton by him.....I know looking back is not something the goaltenders like to do but some of the trickle shots that get through goalies can sometimes be saved if the puck is going slow enough...I know it's rare but I've seen many goalies over the decades a goalie look back and stop the slow moving puck just before it goes over the line.

Our only Sure-fire Shootout Winner just landed in Sweden.

Just now getting the chance to go back through the complete GDT (just out in print; classifies as a short novel).

Interesting to see CBJ fans doing a complete 360, from the lofty expections of pre-game, through the nadir of mid-game, when it became obvious that Freddy wasn't his normal form, and back to the heights of seeing a road-weary team make it to OT and the SO.

We are a funny bunch, us Jacket fans ...

I re-read the whole thing today today. It is truly a great read.

And I had been wondering why Pubs just kinda dropped out in the middle of the thread. I to think, I had thought maybe he had to make a fire-run or something.

Good stuff, HFer's. Good ****ing stuff.*

When watching the NHL.com highlights i belive he did look back just to see the puck move over the goal line. The problem with looking back is that it also automaticly looses the tightness of his legs, its a muscle auto respond(or w/e its called).
And for the record TSN had some bad highlights of the game and at this point not yet updates the individual stats while NHL.com has. So today NHL.com > TSN.ca

Beats working on a Friday, doesn't it? I almost gave myself away though, because I burst out laughing a couple of times. It really didn't take too long. Half an hour, tops. Kinda like a Barry Gifford novel: reads quick, dark humor, and short sharp blasts of unadulterated violence.
