Awwwwwwww yeeeeeeaaaah.

That is one of those great sub-plots that make hockey great. I want to see how we get matched up. Gretzky against Hitchcock. I wonder if Wayne can keep favorable lines out there. I hope that we get Picard after Jovocop.

Mic Ultra - less calories than Bud Light. Heineken Light is also very good, but more calories than Ultra. Sure, it's only a few but when multiplied it gets up there.

I am worried about a let down also. I hope Hitchcock can keep the fire lit under them

If you look at PHX's GDT they are all talking about how hot the CBJ has been, and how lucky we are to have Hitch. They are talking about Norrena, and everyone else.Has anyone ever envied the CBJ????? Kinda cool to read!

Amstel Light. Low calories, great taste, but you pay for it.

I just hope somebody causes some sort of bodily harm on Mike Comrie. I HATE that guy cuz he talks crap but never drops them with anybody. So if he wont drop the gloves...then make his face one with the boards. I say every time he is out there...match him with Shelly/manny/picard. EVERY TIME>

That said...no let down tonight...I just dont see it in the cards.

Jackets 33-3

Hmmm.. this is a tricky one because of the whole let down factor. If we come into this thinking it'll be a walk in the park, we'll lose. Having said that I don't think we come into the game thinking that and we win to extend our overall winning streak to six, and our road game winning streak to five.

I'm thinking 4-2, Nash with two, Picard gets his first, Klesla picks up another. Jovo and Doan score for the 'yotes.

However, Doug MacLean wants us to lose and hates that the team is winning. Therefore I could see him scratching Nash, Zherdev, Vyborny, and Klesla, among others. He'll probably keep Feds in the lineup though because he takes it easy and is only here to gouge the Jackets out of $12 million by the end of next year.

Anyone remember this game? http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/boxscore?gameId=221014029.

Check out the 1st period PIM, 3 fights in a minute and 4 total in the 1st not to mention tons of roughing and misconducts. Crazy old NHL.

I think the real question is, who fights first? Shelly or Tollefsen?

My money is on Tollefsen vs. Morris. Should be a good game.

I believe it was, with the famed comment to Chris Gratton: "The best move this franchise ever made was not acquiring you!"

Also, if I remember correctly Bettman was in the building that night, and was in the booth with the TV announcers as the parade to the box began.

I am in such an extremely grumpy mood today, not that anyone cares, but I am counting on my Jackets to bring me out of it.

My prediction is that they come out strong and continue to impress us all with their confidence and command of the game.

5-1 Jackets. Feds (2), Chimmer, Modin, Klesla

Lets go boys!!! I am going on Saturday and want to see the streak extend to seven against the Blackhawks!!!

Iíll never forget it. Aside from the comedy value, that was a sad night for me: growing up in Connecticut, Dineen was my favorite Whaler by a long shot. Iíve always thought Nash would have benefited immensely if Dino had been able to stick around and mentor him. Not that heís turned out so badlyÖ.

Some reason I remember Gary Bettman attended that game also. So we decided to put on a firewords display of fists. I think Sean Pronger layed out Darcy Hordichuk with one huge hook that connected 100%. Also wasn't that the game where that famous image of Tyler Wright being held back against the boards screaming with blood running down his mouth was from?

To be honest, this is the first time I have thought about the Dineen value to Nash. You make a very good point. Interesting thoughts.
