Absolute BS
So when the puck hits the post and doesn't cross the line, it should be a goal? What is this, croquet? There's more hitting and fighting in that... well, not now, but check back in five years.

Meh. I just wish we would have a call go our way. I'm focusing more on the Seahawks now.

In all fairness, Huet is playing like a God tonight.

The refs have let go of a LOT of calls against the habs.

I think you guys are overacting, your team is not THAT bad.

Hell there's over 40 shots on Huet...He's been simply spectacular tonight.

As for the shorties, you have to consider the following...habs are top 5 in PP and 1st or 2nd in PK. We're also first in SHG....

But tonight the bounces went the habs way when they got dominated. Games like this happen. We had a similar game against the bruins where every shot they took went in even though they were dominated from beginning to end.

The lightning will recover.

We shouldn't have to have a call "go our way".

Maybe these bunch of pathetic chokers should worry about actually closing out a freaking game instead of having to come back in the final 2 minutes every night.

I hate this season. One of these days we'll hit a streak.

We have more shots than them and still we lose the game, our special teams sucked tonight.

I don't care how good Huet was. I don't care how much "effort" they had. When you are weak enough on your own powerplay to give up 2 shorthanded goals, you absolutely deserve to lose. That was shameful.

We have more shots than almost every team we play. A high school quality defense, and HORRID goaltending each night don't make it better.

Honestly, right now, this team needs to have a 4-5 goal lead for me to even think about maybe deciding we might hold the lead. Words can't even honestly describe how bad they are right now. I'm tired of hearing Tim Taylor tell me how good the team has been playing. He just left out the part where they lose a controlled game every single night.

And Huet isn't a nobody goalie. One of the best in the league currently, and if you think any goalie we ice right now is even close to playing on his level, you're out of your MIND.

*sigh*... Is there anything left that can be said about this team.. Anyone laying odds on the first one to get traded is going to be..

Whats frustrating to me is that the same exact excuses can be said about every single game:

We hit a hot goalie.
Special Teams Sucked.
Didnt get the bounces.

I know I have grumbled these things more than once on my way out of the building. (Usually early, of late.) Oh, but this should make me feel better. the Lightning had a huge sale on tickets today, so the guy sitting next to me will have spent significantly less then I did on the same view. Loved seeing those commercials all night.

So does Torts. For god sakes, how many times do you need to lose like this before SOMEONE somewhere understands that it's just not working anymore.

I'm not sure if I should even bother saying it, but I have the sneaking suspicion that all goal-review judges in Toronto are Canada-centric. I really don't think Perrin had the time to knock a puck in intentionally while being pushed into the net. Sorry, doesn't add up to me.

You guys need to trade one of those highly paid forwards for an elite defenseman. However, who would take on such contracts?

I think you guys got absolutely robbed tonight, it should have been a blowout after 2 periods. The Habs played like complete crap and you guys looked like you did in 2003-04.

Ice, that puck didn't even cross the line, so it doesn't matter.

As for who would take one of those contracts, please don't act like if Lecavalier or St. Louis were on the block, teams wouldn't bite.

The only one that might be an issue is Richards.

He seemed pretty pissed off by it, which is perfectly understandable.

The article was in french, so no point for me to post it.
BTW, some of us, even Americans, can read French.

And while were are at it, I would just like to point out, there are a couple things that are different about our goaltending from this year as opposed to last year.

1)They came at a bigger price.
2) Statisically, they are worse than Grahame and Burke were last year, and as of right now, its really not close.

Denis/Holvmqvist: 3.10 GAA .883 SV%
Grahame/Burke: 2.93 GAA .892 SV%

Our goaltending problems are far from solved.

But Jay won't let him go, he probably trades Vinny before he does anything to Torts

I'm a fan of all Tampa teams ... but Tortorella is terrible, he got out-coached again tonight. Gruden gets a whole lot more hate for less than that.

You shouldn't of bothered because the puck didn't even go in the net.

Man, what's with the negativity. Tampa Bay really brought it tonight, they we're dominant.
