I'm guessing in return for Traverse, for Hamilton.

Traverse wanted to go back to SJ, and this is it. Biron is pretty awful.

Probably for Traverse. I remember reading that Traverse was upset at leaving the Worcester area since he just bought a house.

Biron is one of those "that guy had a big potential" but really couldn't do much in the league, especially in the new NHL.

All he ever had was a big body.

I believe it was for Traverse, that's what I heard Tony Marinaro say about 10 minutes ago on the Team 990. I guess we swapped AHL defencemen.

well considering we picked traverse off waivers and we actually got another warm body in return .

hey Biron could fill in an emergency situation for a game or 2 .

Hamiltion is the destination

I don't see a problem here

Traverse wanted to play in Worcester and Biron is having a good season in the AHL (where he will stay)

It's a step up from Traverse. Younger and bigger.

I think this was done simply to improve the 'Dogs, and there's no harm in that at all. Now they have 2 big D-men.

I don't recall seeing Aubin play, but at 26 his potential can still be salvaged. Defensemen can take up until 29-30 before I'll throw in the towel on them. Either way, I know Traverse would be terrible if called up, now at least if it needs to happen there'll be a question mark instead of

Mostly a simple yawner.

It's probably better having Biron than Traverse.

I think, he's being sarcastic because Traverse is leaving...and he reacted by saying '' NOOOOO''.

Anyways, it'll maybe motivate Biron to play better and try to make the habs roster.

I think we got the better player, but it had more to do with Traverse wanting to be there and Mathieu wanting to be here imo. Just a trade to accomodate both players.
