cool Flyers team stats

these are courtesy of nhl.com (as of games played through Nov. 29):

Flyers lead the NHL with 34 pts

PP%:
1) PHI - 26.3%
2) DET - 25.6%
3) COL - 23.3%

PK%:
1) NJ - 88.6%
2) PHI - 87.6%
3) TB - 87.5%

Flyers have the fewest regulation loses in the NHL (2)

Flyers are tied with Det, Col, and Van for most wins in the NHL (14)
(should be kept in mind that the Flyers have played fewer games than these other 3 teams)

Flyers have won 77.3% of all possible points (34 of a possible 44), which is tops in the NHL.
(NJ is 2nd, having won 69.0%)

Is it me or does it seem like NJ is always in the top 3 or 4 in PK???? Good stats by the way.

Send a message via AIM to Rails
this 12 game undefeated streak is like something out of an EHM Franchise

The test will come when this team loses, or even loses 2 in a row, how will they react? because right now confidence is skyhigh
I hope it doesnt happen thou but it has to happen not many teams keep up this level of play for 1/2 a season never mind a full season.

December is a huge month for the Flyers which includes:

- 16 games in all (only 6 of which are home games, which sucks given our amazing success at home thus far)
- a road game in Ottawa tonite
- a road game in Boston
- a home & home with the Devils about the middle of the month
- a home game against Tampa Bay (though they seem to be cooling down a bit as of late)
- 3 road games in 4 nights against Colorado, Dallas and St. Louis (in that order) at the end the month, which are games 3-5 of an 8 game roadtrip (our longest of the season) which continues into January.
