playing him on the Left side was so bad !!
rule #1 to don't kill a player development : Don't change is natural position unless he shows that he can't play it ...
he was definately the best RD defensemen against the Caps ... then quintal is back and he plays LD !! bou !! Why bring up komi from hamilton to play him LD !! we should have keep hainsey instead .. maybe even call up Dykhuis... but please keep Komi RD !!

I certainly didn't understant either why he, of all RD, got to move to the left. Quintal is so bad on right that he couldn't be much worst on left, and Rivet doesn't mind playing forward so he'd probably adjust too to a side change.

Both of them are veterans and have the experience to judge game situations and to react. Playing a rookie out of position (and pairing him with one of our two worst D) was a really questionable decision...

I agree. It could end up being a dumb move by CJ. I say could because we don't know yet what this "little" adjustment could do to his confidence. If he has to adjust to the NHL pace, it makes it that much harder if it has to be on his off side.

CJ said after the game he moved him there because he played a bit at this position when he was in College. Big deal. He was less comfortable it showed and Quintal, his pairing partner, was playing badly, so this makes the situation even worse.

There's a way to treat rookies and it's not the one. To grow successfully, Komisarek should be paired with our best Dman at the moment (Souray) on his natural position.

I sure hope Julien doesn't get into the habbit of using him like this just not to upset two veterans who feel they should be in the lineup even if they're playing badly because it could be easy to project Komisarek having to go back to Hamilton in 3 weeks to rebuild his crushed confidence.

Play him a lot or don't play him at all, but don't start jerking around with his developement. It's not like you have to sit Adam Foote to play him for Christ's sake!

Who would you like to move to the left?
Brisebois is just starting to play better, Rivet have difficulties to play on is position already and Quintal was a disaster last year to the left...
Komi was the best bet and he play well, I think it show that CJ have a lot of confidence in the kid.

A lot of confidence? Julien played him less than 10 minutes against Florida. I would hardly call that a lot. Let's wait to see what he does with the lineup when everybody's healthy before claiming he has a lot of confidence in him. If he makes some difficult choices, maybe controversial, to make some room for Komisarek, then I'll agree.
