I think Salei with the Ducks is an under rated *******. Every game i see him slash people every chance he gets.

le sigh.

I'll give this a shot.
Sean Hill is pretty damn cheap. Everytime I've seen him play, he'd swing his stick around like a scythe.
The same can be said of pronger, who never stops slashing people in his own zone.
Chelios is one cheap ******* too. He's always got the hook on somebody or is trying to break their legs with slashes.
Mike Danton/Jefferson is kinda cheap, as well as Avery. Both players would spear somebody if only for the sake of spearing them.

Chelios is a cheap shot artist.

Ed Belfour. This guy is a master at dishing out the lumber and when the ref isn't looking.

We can start with Billy Tibbetts and Joe Corvo for that "honour".

Turco- it's very clear he studied well behind Belfour

Foote- I'd love to have him on the Wings, but it seems like he's always smacking someone in the back of the head.

He's actually as overrated as it gets. Two bad incidents, but otherwise plays a hard but relatively clean game.

Ignore Semenko. His only purpose on this board is to troll, ragging on the Ducks.

Salei isn't a dirty player, he's just not a very smart one. He doesn't go out of his way to cheapshot players and that Modano incident years ago was overblown. Salei gave him a shove ABOVE the goal line, and Modano's momentum took him in to the wall.

There is a certain player (who shall remain nameless), playing for a West Coast-based team (which shall remain nameless), who has managed to take out two of our guys this season...I'd love to see someone take out a little retribution on him.

By the way, the names have been deleted to protect the victims...

If you are talking about Bryan Allen, then that is interesting. 2 of the flukiest injuries ever.

He's topped my list for quite some time, and that was even before he slashed St. Louis in the back of the knees after a whistle early this year. He never has to pay the price either, man I hate that guy.

Both very flukey injuries......I'd look more at Chelios and Hatcher than Bryan Allen.

Bryan Allen can be a dirty player-but basing it on those two plays? Give me a break.

On the Canucks I'd haveta say Arvedson. Followed by Cooke. Ruutu isn't "dirty", unless vocal tactics/facial gestures are dirty. He's just a sh*thead.

Well, he is pretty cheap. I think Vaclav Varada and Bryan Marchment are worse offenders, however.

Why Waveburner, have you forgotten Ruutu's deliberate kneeing of Stephane Yelle a couple of seasons ago? I believe it was the same game that Bertuzzi came off the bench to get into a mess with Parker and Jovanovski. That was pretty damn dirty.

And for the record, Maltby has got to be in any such thread like this one. It's some sort of law I believe.
