Going tonight!
After two soft games I'm expecting a big bounce-back against our arch enemy.
Freddy-No in goal tonight. Hope to see Footer.
So glad don't have to see Shanny any more on our ice.

Jackets 5 - DEETroit 4

$1 Hotdog night - come hungry! '

Looks like Tollefsen is ready to go with the broken shnoz and Footer is still out. Svitov's play earns him a trip back up to the 2nd line. Vybes on up and Modin down.

I just hate seeing all the Redwing sweaters in the Nat during these games. Just p*s*es me off. Time to drown out their cheering with a strong victory.

Stock Up: Nash, Datsyuk
Stock Down: Norrena, Maltby

Freddy-no needs to get his head straight and be ready for this one. Osgood is back after more than a month of sitting out. That should bode well for us.

Just have to get him to the R-Bar for pre-game!

Foote's status will be decided after the morning skate according to the Dispatch.

We really need to make a statement tonight. Beating the Red Wings on national tv would be a nice message.

First game I get to go to since the Nat since the night Hitch was hired.

Therefore I have a point streak going. I plan on seeing it continue.

GO JAKCETS!!!!!

CBJ-5 DRW-2

We know how to score and tonight the D shows up early.

I'd say either AJ or Tollefsen sits if Foote is ready. My thought would be to go with AJ and let OKT's nose heal another two days. We will need to be more physical in Detroit and it'd be nice to have his presence up there en force.

I'll be there. Working.

If I get thrown behind the Blueline Express again, with no view of the game on TV or anywhere within eyesight, I may just cry. Chicago's game had me pacing like a spaz since the CD 101 kiosk across from me was playing the game on the radio, and George Matthews was about as wild as I've ever heard him.

Ozzie back from a broken wrist and Norrena back with broken confidence...I smell another high scoring game. Odd to see the top two scorers on the Wings are defensemen. 6-4...somebody. I hope we don't lay another egg infront of a national audience.

It certainly doesn't get any easier tonight. I think the Jackets come out strong in the first 10...it would be huge to get the first one tonight in this game. After the first 10 its anybody's game. The Wings aren't exactly lighting it up offensively (GF 89) but they have the best goals against in the leauge (GA 69 ) which means that aren't giving up much. Hasek is playing very well as well is their whole team from a defensive standpoint.

Look for a much better performance defensively...we cannot give up the odd man rushes we did against Chicago. Also must limit the penalties as the Wings PP has picked up the pace of late and is really clicking.

This is a tuff one but I think we make a game of it and we either win or lose by a goal. We are due to beat these guys but we definitely need to score first. Norrena must also give us better goaltending that what we've gotten the past two games.

Damn, I thought I would get a stream for this game but apparently no. Must have looked wrong schedules or something. I'll just stick with homemade hot dogs and radio feed

Not having much hopes for Jackets tonight, but it's amazingly hard to predict nowdays how Jackets games will end. So let's hope for a W, it starts to be a bit crucial again, especially playing Wings two times now.

After reading Foote and Hitch's comments in the paper this morning I say 4-2 CBJ.

The team is drifting, Hitch has caught it and drilled it into them at practice yesterday and the morning skate today. They'll go back to playing sound hockey in time to beat DTW.

I highly doubt Hitch needs any kind of extra selling point tonight.

Yeah those were some good comments. I also loved Hitch's comparison of Svitov to Handzus. I can't remeber who I was talking to but I called that one *pats self on back*.

Of course now Svits needs to produce like Handzus.

Now to go retrieve my Hitch Gold Star.

This one's for you Byrral.

Here it is again!

Red Wings 3 - Jackets 1.

Nash scores but it's not enough and Freddy takes another one for the team.

So far the Jackets are 5-0-1 when I post this prediction.

I don't have Versus so It's the radio for me tonight unless anybody knows some way I can get a video feed.

This is the Wings, I can't get excited about this game. All their obnoxious fans and we usually get embarassed. Hitch or not , we lose again, I hope I'm wrong.
