Huet Question

Hey Habs fans.

Cristobal Huet- On Fire.

I have fantasy owner bangin down my door with offers to trade for him and the answer remains no. he has solidified my goaltending and yours as well.

My question is what percentage of the Canadiens' games will Huet start from here on out?

Baring a complete breakdown, you can expect him to be the starter that he is. He'll most likely get 80+% of the remaining games unless we're well into the playoffs and have guaranteed home ice in which case they'll rest him.

I would probably estimate 75%. Carbonneau wouldn't likely give Huet more than 3 consecutive starts, and give Aebi one in between, maybe two if he plays well in the first.

I expect Huet to start 4/5 games from here on out, unless we have a period like we do starting on the 27th where we play 7 games in 11 nights, Huet might play 4-5 of those and Aebischer 2-3.

Sounds about right to me. Huet cannot handle too many games in succession (remember Boston) and needs to be fresh when the playoffs start. 70 to 75 Percent should be the number of games he is to play from now until the end of the season.

The perfect formula is definitely 75-80 I'd say. 3/4 games or 4/5 games.
