As much as the reffing has sucked, especially for the Panthers, i'm more annoyed that the Rangers have only been able to capitalize on one of them. I mean would rather it be called right down the middle no bias towards either team, but the Rangers need to capitalize on their opportunities. On to the second period, Lets Go Rangers!!!!!!!!!

I am totally befuddled by Renney. Here we have a 29 year old border line NHL'er and he is playing in every situation with 2:49 ice time in one period, yet when we have a young prospect (ie. Callahan, Dawes, etc.) they only play 2:49 for the whole game on only 5v5 situations basically. I do not understand this rationale at all.

By the way to further go on about how bad the reffing is....crosschecking is no longer a penalty, Jagr got crossed checked...no call, Cullen gets crosschecked right in front of the net..no call...but they call the phantom high sticks and little hooks.

Why is Weekes in net tonight? Is Lundqvist still sick?

Isbister has 2:49 of icetime so far. He's on pace for Callahan/Dawes/Orr minutes. Let's not go nuts here people.

It might have had something to do with the Rangers essentially having four consecutive power plays. When you spend that much time on special teams the regulars get tired and you need to rotate others in. I wouldn't get crazy and chalk this up to some Renney anti-youngster conspiracy...

Someone is going to get hurt on a non call and maybe they'll start calling the real penalties

Ward has 3 goals? Everytime I see him have an offensive chance he screws up.

Isbister with 2+ minutes of icetime in one period, has more goals than Orr does after 2 seasons with NY. Roll 4 lines Tom, roll 4 lines

you know why the young guys don't play. Cause they'll play when Sather says they're ready to play!
