What'd he say? I changed it to the horrifically boring MIN-GB game..

It looked like one of his legs buckled because of the odd angle of the hit and the follow-through.

Paul Kennedy: You had a point, an assist in Washington in that win, you get a goal tonight. This came after the game they set you down here. Your reaction to this and what went through your mind?

Ruslan: Ah, you know what, no comment on that.

PK: But you're playing better now. At least the results are there Ruslan.

Ruslan: Well, you know, it's a coaching decision, and like I said, we're just players, we just do our job.

Wow.. They held on and got the 2 points... Now they need to come home and play like that against the Rangers... only 3 points out of the 8th spot right now..with a crap load of teams right there...

Yeah Feds did not seem overly happy with PK bring up him sitting..

1. It's cheap to celebrate injuries. It looks like Spezza is out for a long time.
2. Spezza tries to throw a big hit??? He was carrying the puck, dumped it into the Bolts zone and was following the puck when St. Louis charged in from the blind side and nailed him late. Spezza wasn't even looking at him.
That being said, nice comeback by the Bolts. Great game by St. Louis. I can't stand him, but he's a hell of a player.

I didn't post that right, I wasn't trying to celebrate that he got hurt, and I didn't know it was anything serious. I posted that before our Sun Sports guys even showed a replay.. all I knew was that guys were taking hits on Marty all night. I assumed it was alike, but I could tell once the replay was shown that he wasn't going after him.

At the risk of starting a huge debate (someone has to do it I guess), that was NOT a late hit. Come on, look at the replay. Spezza is one of my favorite non-Bolt players and I hate it that he got hurt but that was a pretty innocent play. Spezza was just releasing the puck when the hit came and he managed to avoid most of it. And it wasn't a blind side hit. How do you explain Spezza almost avoiding it?

I was half-asleep...codeine is good.

Feds has always creeped me out a little...and speaking of..."shoulderful of Ruslan" is now my favorite phrase. Isn't that a song? No wait - that's "Brimful of Asha".

The St. Louis hit on Spezza was fine, just unfortunate the way Spezza's knee ended up buckling.

Kuba has always creeped me out. One time I had a dream he was secretly a serial killer posing as a Lightning player. Yeah, odd.

I haven't had any similar dreams, so I'm not concerned.

I had a dream once that I was in a field with those round archery targets like they use in P.E. in middle school; I was wearing a Robin Hood costume and VL4 was my talking Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Actually, it was no weirder than my usual dreams. I had a dream that I was up in a tree in a giant cradle, that "Rock-a-Bye Baby" song started playing, the cradle started moving, and then it fell. I woke up when the cradle hit the ground.

Oh, and then there was the dream that I had about the giant pink furball that chased me down the street...

Wow, all my dreams are of the normal variety. They have nothing to do with stalking hockey players or anything of that nature.

I'd rather have the strange dreams than the flashbacks with which I'm usually plagued.
