Mitch Fritz

This is who we should go out and trade for to replace ORR. He is 6ft 8 265 pounds. He is a Tampa prospect and after watching hours of video scouting for a new enforcer he is perfect for us. He will play on 2 minutes a game and can fight all the heavies. Craz enough to lay someoneout when needed and he will not dress vs the Floridas of the world.

Too bad he can't skate or do anything else. I've seen him also and the dude is legitimately tough. He just can't play hockey.

The funny thing is, even if Sandra couldn't fight he was at least a decent enough skater (with that totally retardes stride) to keep up with our fourth line if he was here today.

Another player that can't even make it in the AHL, he's Orr material alright. NY needs a skater/fighter/scorer

The funny thing is that Orr skates better and passes better AND even shoots better.

Think of what level a player Fritz really is now...

Guys not to be a rag but how can you guys comment on a player on other teams radar when you don't even know who is out or injured in our system? Mitch like i said is a goon and a pure fighter i never mentioned being a skater or player. Orr was told to lose weight and he lost 25 pounds and it totally ruined him as a enforcer

How is the guy perfect for us? If he can't skate, then he isn't.

I actually like Fritz as a character guy. Just at the minor level. He's a guy I'd love to have in our farm system to defend our boys down on Hartford. Dude has a ton of guts -- but guts alone won't make him an NHL player.

Fritz is horrific.

And the times that I've seen him I didn't even get the impression that he was that physical. He just sorta coasted around looking for a fight, and could do nothing else.

Thanks for the info Joe.

And yes, I'll take him...Barnaby that is. He's shows once again he'll take on all comers.

I wasn't at all impressed with Fritz. Leave him in the minors.

Come on. The Rangers didn't not sign Barnaby in order to throw cash at Hossa. They didn't want to match what the Blackhawks offer (reportedly much to Barnaby's dismay/surprise). Hossa was then a trade happened before the start of the season. He was not a FA signing.

Tirades are fine, but kept them grounded in reality please.
