You may have a point there......I never really thought about it but the Nucks are not as fast or skilled or as deep as Detroit....then again, not many teams are.

Well, it looks to me like the Red Wings were that good the other night. Vancouver, on the second night of a back-to-back, is a much better match up for the CBJ.

Of course, Columbus helped Detroit look good, and they are helping Vancouver look unimpressive (so far!) tonight.

And I respect Luongo a lot, but Ithink he whines more than most goalies, too.

The only difference I see is a team more focused early on and capitalized on plays. Look just as good tonight as they did on Monday. After the win on Monday, especialy goin up big in the first only to hold on, you had to know there would be some sort of letdown Wed night early. Didn't happen tonight. The game is 60 minutes from the start. Just my observastion, and Vancouver on a back to back is good for us I guess.

heh Aaron Johnson looks like he's 12.

Kind of reminds me of Charlie Conway from The Mighty Ducks.

I agree, they look like they did in the first period on Monday..... we are controlling the play and not standing around watching as we did Wednesday, and it doesn't hurt to have zero goals against us either.....

i think if we can continue to show some good defense and goaltending and can put up 4 or 5 goals a night then we can really make a run at the playoffs and go deep into the rounds, we still need one more playmaker to be a real contender for the cup

I don't think we will score 4 or 5 goals a night but if our defense plays according to the system and if our goaltending is good in the first periods we could get close....but unfortunately we don't have much room for error to make the post season....we can only drop around 16 more games....it will be hard and a long shot.

Dropping only 16 of 49 is a tough order for any team, let alone a team still finding itself in a new system. Wait, win 2 of 3 isnt too bad, but still its a tall order for the Jackets

"pascal does not appear to be... very good here". I was gonna say pull him, but before that happened Pazzy pulled himself. Good call I say.

Let's see if Freddy No can put up the wall on the 5 on 3...

Gare, with 17:05 left in the second, in a 2-1 CBJ lead: "This game's far from over here, partner."

Vancouver is pressing now, our players need to fight for Norrena and protect him by puck possession and offense.....

I think the team with more goals at the end of the game is going to win.

They have been saying a lot about the Luongo and the recent offensive deficiency of the Canucks. Bottom line -- we will need to score a couple more goals to win this game.
