I voted 7. I think anything less than 6 will be disappointing. These teams aren't bad, but if we can play up to our potential, some of the points should be in the bank.

The Boston game will likely be the toughest, and you end with the dreaded two-games-in-two-nights Florida swing, but I think we'll manage.

Our 2 games in 2 nights isn't THAT BAD, I mean going from Florida to Tampa isn't like coming back to Montreal from Florida

I cannot vote in some polls, it seems. Someone told me that is because I am a rookie. Yet I have voted in other polls.

Can anyone explain this in more detail, PLEASE?

Same for me... On some pool I can vote with no problems... Other one I already saw the result and something I do not have the permission to vote.

To be honest, I'd be happy with 4pts after the way we've played the last two weeks. Of course, I hope for a sweep, but I just don't see any team being that consistent, regardless of the opposition. Even Buffalo at the beginning of the year needed some lucky nights to get a few of their wins (remember that shootout?).

Anyway, here's to good luck.

I voted in one poll, though. Also, I can't create polls.

Is there any more to it than a simple 3-month rule?

Simple

I don't remembre the last time the Habs have won back to back in florida.
Actually when is the last time any team from the North as won back to back in Florida?
Back to back games shouldn't even be. This isn't baseball.
Games should be on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Every week.

And why are the habs always on a road trip during the hollidays?

I'm being very cautiously optimistic and I'll say a 2-2 split over the trip. We've been on such a roll lately a little lull is inevitable, a 2-2 split is fine with me and then we pick it back up in January where we left off. I certainly think we are capable of 8 however, I'm just trying to not get too far ahead of myself

i made a thread about our ability to do well in the end on december and almost every post was negative about looking ahead and bla bla.

i believe we can win the remainder of the games. the hard ones are already over with. Sure a couple could be dangerous(boston,washington0 but we should beat these teams. and as fans we can look ahead and speculate wether we think the team can win or not. Its not about the guys on the team not bringing it to every game no matter who the opponent is, They do!! This is about us the fans..
