Just wondering what peoples thoughts are of Ontario always a favorite but did they get it right this time?
Well, one would think that they'd have to get it horribly wrong not to do well. The Ontario 90s are very deep in talent. The 2008 NHL Draft has many excellent prospects. And keep in mind that the best, John Tavares, won't be on the team. He played in the tournament last year, then graduated to the under-18 team for the world under-18 championships last April.
It would be a disgrace if Ontario didn't win the U-17 in this format (provincial vs. regional & national teams) based on population alone, never mind the fact that the '90 age group in Ontario is easily the best one since the '85's in my opinion.
