Merry Christmas everyone. Even though I'm not a regular, I appreciate the great insights and arguments and passion you all bring to hockey. Wish our team played as passionately!

Whether you worship him or not, Jesus is the kind of hero who deserves our attention and appreciation, (inserts obligatory hockey inference outside the lounge) kind of like Jody Shelley . Both of them are humble, have been crucified, and are living a life the rest of us can only dream of.

Not that I'm saying Jody Shelley is Jesus Christ.
But you never know.

-Matt

I'm in Hilliard, Fireman Dawg... and I have a question for you... How long should I leave the gas on in the fireplace before I throw in a lit turpentine-soaked rag? Pubs says "1 minute" but I don't know...

Happy Holidays to everybody.

All I want for the Holiday Season is for Hitch to kick the boys in their arses over Saturday night's performance so hard that they never even think of playing that half-arsed (or less) again.

So what'd everyone get?

Best: AKPsi Leather Meeting folder, $500 cash

Worst: $100 worth of scratched-off lottery tickets

Most surprising: American Psycho on DVD from my new girlfriend (yes!)

I got NHL 07, "Brick" DVD, CBJ stocking, new wireless controllers for my PS2 that I plan on rocking for at the minimum another year (screw the next gens! I still got lots to do with the current gens). Oh all that was from my girlfriend ..... Hoping my brother got my text message about getting me the LOTR war strategy PC game + expansion pack I'll find out in a few days. Oh yeah I'm a nerd.

Go Bluejackets! I'd trade a first win in Dallas, and Colorado for first loss to the Isles any time. Go baby Jesus too!

thank god christmass is over, can we lock this, now i can get back to working to pay for all that crap.. BAHH HUMBUG!!!

best: trip to glendale, even though it is with my spoiled, whiny arse sister, who isnt even an osu fan, she just enjoys milking life for all its worth, and im not talking in a good way, while putting little of anything of value back into it.. 2-faced *****... i hate (thats an awfully strong word, lets call it dislike) her "husband" as well. he is a sponge only in reputation. you see a real sponge will release things when you squeeze it, this sob doesnt, freaking low life, lives in a house provided to them by the faimly buisness and he is to lazy to clean gutters, move his stuff when they move from free house to free house, or take car of his own chit, hell they have my grandmother doing their laundry. ********.

worst: victorias secret ensamble that stayed in the bag no thanks to mrs dkb

biggest surprise: none, i know everything

A belated holiday well-wishes to all...

I loved Brick - thought it was one of the better movies I’ve seen this year and likely will buy it in post-holiday shopping.

Biggest surprise - Star Wars Lego PS2 (original trilogy) game. Not terribly difficult, but I’ve quickly found it to be an entertaining pastime and quite an amusing take on the Holy Trilogy of movies I love so well.
