Wow, if that attempt by Craiger had gone in it'd be an Ovechkin-style goal. Why doesn't Taylor ever wrap to the FAR side like Lecavalier does when he wants to SCORE on one?

Lehtonen's being amazing again

I never saw Holik's face so close before, he looks a lot like Vinnie Jones. Jones would probably kick his *** though What if Jones played hockey...

So instead of turning up the heat we matched their dead play, got a lucky breakaway and led 1-0. Then we decided we were going to sleep through most of the second. Homer lets in a softie but looks great otherwise. He's kept them in it.

Too many odd man rushes. Game seems to be way slow. 1-1 going into the third???? I don't really like our chances here. Not saying they're done but I think they tank this one.

Sorry I'm so late, I worked 12 hours today and didn't get home till right around game time.

I really like this farm report thing. It's nice to actually see a few of the young kids in action, even if it is very brief.

That was nice.

Odd man rushes are indeed bringing us closer to a loss. However, if they continue to play like they did at the end of the second period, we'll have an excellent shot at putting this one away and notching a 'W.' I don't know why Holmqvist always let's in the easy ones, but here's hoping the rest are hard so he stops them

I'd like to apologize to Homer, that was no softie. Looking at the replay it looked like there was about 386 people in front of him. He had no chance. How that puck got through is a mystery.

I hate the stupid delay of game penalty. I could see if they could rule whether it was intentional or not, but as it is it's ridiculous.

Agreed. Especially when the boards seem to have puck-launching capabilities like they seem to have in ATL.
