Habs Washington on TSN HD tomorrow...RDS HD next year?

Its been quite a while since I've seen a Habs game in High Definition. Looking forward to seeing this tomorrow night. Anybody know if it is a fact that RDS is going HD next year. Any links to this? Thanks.

When the majority (all?) are in HD, I'll buy one.

To watch the game in HD , you must have a HD TV , HDTV digital receiver , TSN (HD) not available in the programmation yet.

You may have those things , but I speak for all the guys who wished to see the game tomorow without thoses settings.

Well it comes down to when you need a new TV, there's no point in not investing an extra few bucks to get the HD feature. I agree that it's not worth replacing your existing TV, as long as it works and you're satisfied with it, just for the HD feature. We needed a new TV, so we got an HD Sony Bravia. In another 5 years, we'll get another TV that has whatever du-jour technology exists.

Well, at least you won't have to wait long for the next TSN HD Habs game. January 7th against the Devils.

my cousin spent just bought a 70 inch LCD 1080p HDTV... the 1080p basically means its top of the line but there isn't anything being offered in 1080p in terms of programming yet.

Anyways, I was watching an nfl game on it yesterday... it just blew me away. He invested a bit more money and hooked up a brilliant surround sound system... just stunning... so I spent my christmas basically drooling over this TV.

I only have a 420p TV at the moment... so its kind of an artificial HD... but its hard watching TV on anything else after that 1080p experience.

I have 2 Hdtv's in my house but no HD receiver. It kind of sucks.
It's still amazing to play video games and Dvd's with them though...oh and I use my Tv as my second monitor so it's not that bad.

I want an HDTV, but I don't really have the $800-$1200 to spend on one.

Woohoo I was going to miss this game, but as it turns out I'm sick as a dog so I might as well spend tonight with the Habs.
